That's a good point. Roach really should protest. I know they never really overturn decisions but that is so clear cut a KD not called. The rules need to matter.

 

I guess I should've scored this one. But even not scoring it, I thought Roach (amazingly) won.

He matched him (and more), shot for shot, short punches, quicker punches and weathered what Tank actually thew. Roach actually did what I didn't think he'd be able to do. Tank would be in trouble against Keyshawn. Hell he'd be in trouble in a rematch against someone we now know can take and ride his best shots.

Saving grace for Roach is even though he didn't get the official win, he's not blemished with a loss here

 

To be honest, I believe him. But rules are rules.

Davis has Roach problems he needs to deal with, or he will never live it down. The man lost tonight and he knows it.

 

Also for what it's worth, I don't think the knee should have even been a thing that affected the outcome. It should have just been icing on the cake. I had Roach winning even without it.

So bummed out for Roach, but the man can certainly hold his head high.

While I don't think the fight was one-sided at all, I did have Roach winning. I do believe Tank had stuff in his eye but that should have been scored a knockdown. Just that fact should have given Roach the fight.

 

Boxing is a ****ing joke, they literally robbed him of his livelihood and legacy. Now this fight gets forgotten when it was a clear as day win.

Same with Paddy Donavan earlier. IT's disgusting.

 

Then as a professional and a champion, you sort that crap out BEFORE the fight!! Losers make excuses after fights like that. Weak sauce Davis.

 

No because the referee did not award a knockdown nor was it a knockdown. In fact Tank won that round.
