    Wlad by KO. Lewis' 2 kryptonites were jab and big right hand, and Wlad was one of the best of all time in BOTH these categories. Not to mention he was quicker than Lewis and carried his power better throughout the fight (Lennox never stopped anybody past round 8). Lewis of course had better inside game but to get to Wlad's chin he would most likely need to go through his power. And there is no way on the Earth for Lewis to take a flush right hand or left hook from Wlad and not get flattened

    People saying Lewis did everything better are delusional. Wlad’s footwork and balance was MUCH better than Lewis’ who would cross his feet at times when moving backwards. Wlad’s jab was far superior, he could parry with it, disguise it into a hook, use it as a blind for his straight right etc. Lewis only had a pawing rangefinder. Wlad was also the superior athlete with faster hands as stated by Emanuel Steward himself.

    Also left hook - Wlad had elite one, Lewis' was average both power-wise and technique-wise. Of course Lewis also did some things better and some (uppercut) much than Wlad and their clinching/holding skills was on the same level. Lewis was great fighter and so was Wlad. But Wlad in his prime never allowed fights to be as close as Lewis vs Mercer or Lewis vs washed up Holyfield 2. Lewis did

    Spot on :deal::deal:

    It’s almost funny how all the little bothered lewis fanboys are talking like lewis wouldn’t have ANY issue with a sniper of Wlad’s caliber. Like lewis would just “Walk through” what Wlad (Especially prime Wlad) would be firing off at him. lol “Walk through” :lol::lol: Yeah ok.

    @CST80 Usually does very well written thorough breakdowns of fights even hypothetical ones. Would love to see his breakdown of this one. Prime for prime. Both at their best. Manny Steward trains them both for it… but sits in the stands come fight night and other coaches are in their corners :smoking:

    I think that you are right about me. How can I get over my bitterness and being so insecure? Please advise me on this matter.

    All it's all hypothetical but Wlad could definitely KO Lewis with one shot. Wlad had ATG power in both hands.

    I'll think about it, but not making any promises. For what it's worth, I agree with you and @ForemanJab.:deal:

    You can tell nowadays there’s a lot of mutual respect between the two. Lewis knows full well Wlad was a great fighter. He even said he feels Wlad would’ve beat prime Tyson.

    I was watching Lewis’ fight with Mercer and he was landing some full force right hands, left hooks, uppercuts… you name it on Ray and he didn’t budge him. At all. Wladimir more than did that against Mercer. And Ray wasn’t THAT far past it in 2002. He was also riding a nice win streak.

    Wlad appears to have good relationship with both Lennox and Holyfield from that era in particular.

    It would have been an amazing, high level fight. Neither man has ever beaten anybody as good as each other.

    However, I do think Lewis' has been overrated since he retired. Fans talk like he can't be beaten, it's ridiculous.

    Wlad has faster hands, faster feet, and better footwork, a better defense, a better jab and punches harder. And has more endurance.

    Wladimir in his dominant decade of terror hardly ever lost a single round.

    Also contrary to popular belief, Wlad arguably has a better chin than Lewis. Lewis was OUT COLD from one punch from Rahman, Wlad got up 4 times from a harder hitting Sanders.

    This fight goes to the better boxer, with a punchers chances either side, so to me that favours Wladimir.
