Y'all need to give this man his flowers. He went in against a P4P-rated, hard hitting star as a heavy underdog coming up in weight as a B-side and both beat up and dropped Tank. Everyone's jumping onto the "Tank exposed" narrative but overlooking the fact that Roach proved he can hang with the best and that he has improved greatly since his defeat to Herring. Roach is really well-rounded and clever and showed that he's got that dawg in him against Tank. He put on an incredibly classy performance against Tank and has even been sportsmanlike in the face of the egregious decision he was given. Lamont Roach is a legit fighter and people need to realise that.
He ought to have victories over Cruz and Davis instead of draws with them. His third blemish is legit though - Herring beat him clean. Good fighter but not elite (which says much about Tank...)
I agree. I thought he was on point and was responding effectively to everything tank was trying. He came in with a plan and executed at a high level. I liked what I saw from him and his team.

I do actually. Almost all the focus has been that Wahid should have been given a count, but Roach has definitely proven he belongs at this level. He should have gotten the decision over Cruz as well.
