And are you talking about a guy who got punted out of the ring by Buddy Baer? Battered by Schmeling? Seriously, let's not pretend Joe was some flawless Juggernaut casually cruising through his opponents. Let's also not ignore Parker's own formidable skills and footwork and good old size, not to mention the guy's chin is also fairly proven at this point. He just happens to not do anything at a truly excellent level, hence i went with Joe by late stoppage.

Louis beat down Buddy Baer and Abe Simon who were big'uns, he'll beat down Joseph Parker.

Was Louis charged with murder when he fought obese drunk Galento or Canera or maybe Braddock who even scored a knockdown against him an others in his bum of the month list? Not saying that Parker would beat Louis. My money would definitely be on Louis but how many of his opponents in his 25 title defences would you say are definitely better fighters than Parker an you would be confident that they would beat Parker? Louis vs Parker wouldn’t be a joke matchups

Louis beats Parker, of course he does. Just as Usyk does. But it would not be a walk in the park or a blow out for either of the smaller men. Joe has improved throughout his career and is one of those rare fighters, Dubois perhaps being the best example, who has learnt more from his losses than his wins and has improved exponentially because of them. That said, for me Louis is the second best heavy ever, and Parker isn't even the second best heavy now...levels. This would not be a one sided beat down, and Parker is significantly better than many (the majority?) of Joe's opponents but Louis wins a competitive but clear decision here, maybe even stops Parker if it's 15 rounds...

Louis by late KO or decision but Parker would be competitive as long as he didn’t come in too heavy.

We would have to favor Louis of course, but Parker has done enough to suggest that he could make it interesting.

Him being 50+ lbs heavier than Walcott and Conn would make him massively slower than either of those guys.
He would also be far slower than Louis.

All these guys looked like they had been beaten with a baseball bat by the middle of the fight, none of which made it past that point.
If you want to use the Braddock fight to prop up Parker, be my guest. Braddock was scooped off the canvas by four men in the eighth, Parker will need two more guys for that but for Louis it won't make much of a difference.

Not a mismatch. And yes Parker would be one of his best wins.

Louis would have to fight Parker the way he fought Schmeling in the rematch when he gave up his cautious methodical style and went all out attack.

Not necessarily. Ali was 35 lbs heavier than Billy Conn, and yet he was faster. It depends on the fighter's athleticism and how much of that weight is fast twitch muscle.

And Louis faster than Parker? Absolutely not. Only in terms of hand speed at close range. Parker had much faster legs.
