Nice. After surviving the evil ex wife no one can tell Bivol what to do anymore.

I mean it is a quality fight, and one that I am looking forward to watching. Even if I am confident Bivol has enough to outpoint Benavidez.

Hope Beterbiev doesn't fight Callum Smith though would be a repeat of their first fight. Not many other options though as Morrell, Buatsi just lost, and has already beaten Smith, Yarde, and Gvodysk. Albert Ramirez probably not done enough but could see him getting a shot at Beterbiev. If only Canelo cancelled the Scull fight to fight Beterbiev in another universe, even Mbilli would be a fun fight for Beterbiev but of course he is a SMW.

Just not much options for Beterbiev.

Morrell is a great fight for Beterbiev. They both lost their last fights.

So one should assume none of this will have anything to do with Turki then?

And if so, wonder how much bridge burning was done, considering Turkis comments on the subject.

You took the words right out of my mouth, I was about to write it. I think it is difficult for Bivol to displease Turki Alalshikh. Maximum respect for the journalists who gave the news but I prefer to wait for the date and location of the match, in which case it will mean that I was wrong in thinking that Bivol's next match would be the third confrontation with Beterbiev.

Weird how Mauricio is all about enforcing Benavidez's mandatory title shot against Bivol after protecting his ginger godson Clenelo from Benavidez for so long when Benavidez was his mandatory

Bivol will comfortably beat an overrated Benavidez.

Benavidez is good but I just don't see anything special in him, besides his workrate.

If this actually comes off, I have a feeling that we'll be looking back at 2025 as an even better repeat of 2022 for Bivol. Man's looking at beating an undisputed champion on many people's pound for pound lists and following it up with a win over a guy with a height and reach advantage again. Great fight, and hopefully it's actually what we get to see next :ggg

But you know who'd really be in luck in this situation? No, not us fans, though it has been great to see Bivol in these fights lately.

Nah, it's Michael Eifert. Man's prolly making a killing in these step aside fees, and if he's so inclined, he can tell his less boxing involved friends and family members that the two best in the division actually paid to keep from having to step in the ring with him. Context matters, sure, but as long as no one asks for details it sounds pretty impressive :sisi1

Bivol should rematch Beterbiev tbh, but I get why he wouldn’t want to. Fighting Beterbiev takes years off your life. Even if he wins he doesn’t get out of these fights without damage.

The two Beterbiev fights were good, but I don’t think they were that good that I have to see it a third time. Bivol vs Benavidez seems to be the natural progression for Bivol’s career.

And if Bivol wins he can move up to Cruiserweight and Beterbiev can fight Benavidez.

If Benavidez beats Bivol then Benavidez can also fight Beterbiev. So everyone stays in the mix.

We want the best to face each other. While you may be correct, it somewhat downplays what us fans are constantly asking for.
