Yup. Most definitely in the running. Many modern boxing fans literally don't know **** about this fine sport and its history
As far as hand speed goes, I always wondered why we haven't seen anyone that is much faster than Ali since he's been around? I mean, aren't boxers just like any other sports players, bigger stronger faster nowadays?
OP, you missed a letter, here. I am sure you meant to say, "And Ruiz is fatter than Muhammad Ali." And yes, he sure is.
Thank you for posting those. My whole point though, is that with the way that Fighters have supposedly gotten so much faster over the years, that we should see many fighters that are much faster than Ali by now.
I'd say Ruiz in his prime had quicker hand speed than Parker. Ali though man, lol - not a chance in hell.
People don't realize how fast Ali was. He could turn the light switch off and be in the bed before the room got dark. LOL
How exactly do you measure that?....... This is the silliest argument. And even if it's true.....He's a heavyweight. How much is being faster than a falling HOFer helping him to win titles thus far. The only time he has championship status was when AJ fell short of taking him serious. But the rematch sent him back to reality.
