Two fighters known for their dangerous punching power, arguably the hardest punchers in their weight class. Who would you say was the better h2h fighter and who has the better resume overall?

Not necessarily sure on legacy, but, if they were the same size, Carbajal would kick Tszyu's ass.

Tszyu was more talented and skilled. Carbajal had a lot more substance to him. I consider Carbajal greater, but probably not by much. They're both in the same general class of greatness.

I don't know if I would dismiss Tszyu so easily in a P4P matchup. Tszyu's style was highly effective against the traditional Mexican style. It's really come forward, fast pressure that was Tszyu's weakness, and Carbajal was more a counterpuncher with power than a pressure fighter.

If forced to choose though, yeah I would say Carbajal knocks Tszyu out late, but he'd be behind on the cards. The difference would be that Carbajal was all heart, and Tszyu was a front runner.

Your last comment is exactly why I made my prediction. I just feel that Carbajal was so tough and fearless that he would eventually overcome the slight edge in skill that Kotsya possessed.

Overall skills it's Tszyu, but Carbajal had a better resume and mentality,h2h he may be able to stop Tszyu late with his skills and mentality, he'll find any way to bust you sooner or later if you let him adjust.

Tszyu was better but both great exciting fighters and a pleasure to watch.

I'm going with Carbajal a better resume and when he destroyed Muangchai Kittikasem this is something who marked me a lot !

Still on the fence between the two although I think Carbajal's win over Chiquita and Arce should give him the edge. I must say Carbajal and Tszyu do have some similarities with the way they unleash their offense, especially the right hand. Great punching technique and accuracy. Very Louis-Arguello-esque.

Unlike Louis & Arguello, Tszyu wasn't effective at close-range. He was a mid-range power puncher.

Tszyu. He remains criminally underrated on this board.

If anything Tszyu was much more similar to Yuri Arbachakov style and technique wise.
