Roy's reason for losing Tarver 3 is one of the lamest excuses of all time. He said he didn't want his dad to get credit cause he trained with him for that fight.

 

The glove tampering, yes. There’s a video of a sparring partner showing Fury’s gloves with the pads removed. So there was reason for suspicion. Anyone can look it up. But I don’t want to get into that. He’s a better boxer than Wilder.

Mike Weaver.Some have him as a top 5 HW of his era because he had a good fight with Holmes while he got stopped 12 times and lost a bunch. His SOS is not better than a bunch of guys with way less losses in his era. If everyone has a fancy record maybe not having one isn't amazing?

Tony Galento-Barely a top 20 Joe Louis title opponent. 25 losses, 6 stoppages including Gainer who he outweighed by 50 pounds. Galento lost the overwhelming majority of his tough fights and was a superheavyweight who liked to fight LHWs. His only relevant win over 200 wins he should have went to prison for and he was a dirty fighter. Galento knocked down Louis then survived one round and is by far the worst member of the "I knocked down Joe Louis club".

Tyson-Tyson is younger than Holyfield and Lennox Lewis and peoples excuse is that he was washed and that his prime ended when he was 24. If people wanted to excuse him for his size or something you'd understand but many people feel prime Mike Tyson stopped existing the moment he started losing. Despite beating everyone except 2 guys easily for the next 15 years.
