In a way, this would be best for Parker. He will beat virtually anyone else for the vacant belt, and it he still wants to fight Usyk to prove himself a great, then he can do it after Usyk-Dubois II.

But make no mistake, Usyk-Parker is the premier heavyweight fight that could be made.

It should be happening already. Dubois got schooled and quit from a jab. He doesn't deserve a rematch.

This is one of the main reasons why I think this should happen next, and also why I'm hoping that Dubois drops the belt to someone in the meantime. Nothing against him, just don't really think he'd do any better against Usyk. His win streak has been good but they could not be more dissimilar to the type of fighter Usyk is, so I don't think the success with them would translate to a second fight with Usyk at all.

Let's get the guy in there who can bring something new to the table and not the guy who was on his way to being shutout before being stopped.

Dubois should fight Kabayel or rematch AJ next.

I'd love it if Dubois fought Kabayel and dropped the belt to him. Keeps the mix at Undisputed completely different, and sees Usyk getting to close his career out against two guys on great win streaks. Or in the event one of them springs the upset, we get a relatively young Undisputed champ who has a chance of defending that status for awhile.

You could say the same about Dubois I reckon, but man... I think the heavyweight title scene can do without rematches for a minute. It's had its fill for the last five or so years

It means Parker becomes WBO champ

And Usyk has to fight both DDD and Parker for Unified

Parker deserves his title shot. Hopefully, they come to an agreement.

He would have to beat Dubois before the WBO strips him.
Unlikely to happen, and it would be an empty achievement. Reminds me of Bradley at 140lbs.

It’s Usyk’s own fault if he gets stripped. Then he should fight more often. I read that he might not fight until the fall….and just sit on the belts? Yeah **** that.

Usyk the entire time is sitting on his belts and avoiding fights where he can to not loose a fight

Lets see if suddenly WBO goes silent and does not strip him because zelensky transferred a bit of money ...

Joshua and even more so Hearn, don't want any part of a Dubois rematch.

I think that if the WBO wants to make Parker fight for the world title, they should simply do the right thing and be serious. Parker won the interim WBO title in March 2024 by beating Zhang and confirmed it in February 2025 by beating Bakole, it is his right now to fight for the WBO world title.

Then personally for me if Usyk and Dubois fight for 3 belts instead of 4 it doesn't change anything, the boxers are always the same and the real world champion of the category is Usyk. I conclude by saying that I would prefer to see Parker - Usyk, because it would be a new match, rather than Usyk - Dubois (even if it seems like we are going in this direction), a fight that we have already seen and where Usyk dominated and won inside the distance.
