Ball would lose to the other champions, let alone Inoue.

That being said its too bad Nick Ball and Isaac Cruz are not in the same weight division.

Let's see Espinoza and Ball unify next.

    Oh shut up Bunce...

The frog in your throat is bigger than Ball..

And probably the whole dynamics of this main event..

I do wonder if Fulton has enough craft to beat Ball though or if he'd get overrun. Espinoza vs Ball has the potential to either be a fight for the ages or a domination where the bigger, harder-hitting Espinoza backs up and stops Ball. 126, as ever, remains a very fun division as long as the fights get made.

TJ is very tough, tricky and awkward and it was difficult for Ball to land flush with more than one shot at a time until TJ started to slow down. TJ's corner should've pulled him out earlier. Difficult style for Ball to look good against.

Don't forget TJ, who they said was a bum when Inoue fought him, caused Inoue some issues and was on his way to violently knocking Inoue out prior to the freak injury. Also, Ball beat a 200lb TJ who missed weight and looked huge in there, not a 145lb one.

Ball vs Inoue in Liverpool at the end of the year

Espinoza does as well. Ball barely beat Vargas, Espinoza is Vargas with a better chin, better gas tank, far higher output, longer arms and savage KO power.

Yes you can kick someone in the ring, Frampton. Ball is a fighting man and if you locked me in a headlock for 10 seconds I'd kick your face into the cheap seats.

Me too. Inoue needs to make a statement by taking the title off the champ in the birthplace of The Beatles

As would I but it wouldn't be an easy fight and Fulton would need to be as switched on as he was against Figueroa in the rematch.

Steve Bunce sounds like Alex Jones was eating a flaky biscuit and suddenly aspirated some crumbs and turned British.

Y'know, I wanna agree, but I actually don't think Inoue would stop Ball...

Not cause he can't, mind you. Matter of fact that's what I was picking to happen, by body shot around 5-7, until I saw this fight tonight and got to thinking about how he was acting during the middle part of the Vargas fight. No, his behavior during his less successful moments in these fights have me opting to pick a rarer method of victory for Inoue, and not one I ever thought I'd predict with any sort of confidence.

I feel like after several rounds of hardly anything going his way, if anything, tons of wasted energy gaining only counter shots in return, and feeling the stoppage looming, Ball will resort to something stupid to get himself disqualified. No idea what it'll be, could be a kick like we saw tonight, picking Inoue up and slamming him to the canvas like he did Vargas at one point, low blow, maybe even a tribute to Mike Tyson. Dunno the method, but the way he gets when frustrated, at least lately, just gives me the strong impression he'd rather take a DQ than a KO or lopsided decision loss.

My first disqualification prediction. That's some milestone as a boxing fan, I guess :D
