Hrgovic’s cardio is his biggest issue imo, he looked great in the early rounds against Dubois but he gassed pretty quickly. I’m not even sure he won’t get tired from Joyce’s sheer workrate.

I think he’s a talent on the level of Parker and Kabayel but I doubt he wins either, I’m more confident in Kabayel due to his body workrate

Probably lose an UD against Parker
Surely lose by KO against Kabayel
I have the feeling that Kabayel is the real stuff in that division
Would be nice to see Kabayel against some movers

    If Hrgovic beats Joyce well?

Stylistically - Parker might suit Hrgovic if its just an outboxing game where its just a battle of the jab and straights with little risks taken from either fighter. Could see a decision victory for either one, Hrgovic might have more talent than Parker but I have to back Parker to get the nod going off their records as of now.

Whereas, Kabayel would be a bad match-up for Hrgovic. Hrgovic would really struggle against Kabayel's bodywork. The apparent stamina issues Hrgovic has would not mix well with any body shot of any kind.

Stylistically Kabayel is more difficult, but the other big factor is whether Hrgovic is motivated and in-shape. If he's out of shape and unmotivated he beats neither.

Hrgovic is almost completely incapable of points wins... The question with Parker is whether Hrgovic can knock him out - realistically, it's just not happening.

Parker UD I'd be 95% confident of.

Kabayel... It's more difficult to call purely because both Hrgovic and Kabayel are quite limited in terms of what they've proven... Right now, Hrgovic's limited gas tank looks a bad batch for Kabayel's body work - and again, does Hrgovic have the power to stop him?

Yeah, I think Croatian can beat Parker and Kabayel.
Parker he can KO because Parker is getting hurt a lot lately and Croatian has more power and a better chin.
Kabayel seems very stationary. If Zhang can do a drunken off-balance windup and KD him I think Croatian can punch Kabayel in the head enough to put him on the canvas.

People are writing this guy off too early. He lost to a dangerous imbecile but that doesn't mean he can't beat ranked fighters now.

Parker lost to Joyce and got dropped by old Chisora and just kept going, got a few wins over old and fat people and now people think he's really good. So there's a lesson there.

Its heavyweight and he has solid power, he can definitely beat both. Hrgovic just looks lacklustre like his heart isn't really in the sport. I'm not sure what his camps look like but in the ring it looks like he hasn't been working that hard.

If he comes out with fire having found that desire again I reckon he has a decent chance against both. A resurgent Parker is a problem but Hrgovic is great with that right and will catch Parker with it, I'd see Parker taking into the later rounds and taking over though for a UD or exhaustion TKO though.

The Kabayel bodywork will be the end of Hrgovic if he isn't taking the fight seriously, but Kabayel with have to take shots to land his own work and that kind of strategy works great until it suddenly doesn't and Hrgovic has enough power that he might be the one to finish it.

Slim and none, I would think, unless he has vast reservoirs of skill and ability that he has not shown us.

He lacks the heart that these men have. Parker would win by UD, Kabayel makes him quit.

How the hell he lacks heart while he was trading bombs with biggest punchers in the division in Zhang and Dubois and never quit.

I wouldn't say it's heart necessarily, but a certain something that makes him do that extra bit whether in camp or the fight to ensure the victory. Its like that little bit of extra fire, for example in the Zhang fight was close and he could have lost that, but just a couple more punches and he would have put his stamp on it.

It reminds me a bit of Parker before his resurgence where he would look a bit flat and like he didn't really want to win. Parker recently said he felt like he was boxing for his dad and coach as opposed for himself, and also that he was badly over training and under recovering leading to flat performances, perhaps Hrgovic is the same.

Depends if he beats Joyce which is a big if.

His stamina issues were apparent in his WSB fight with Joyce and in the fight with DDD. It wasn't a case of Hrgovic having bad stamina just for one fight because he wasn't putting the work in, it's a facet of his game for a long time. So question is can he improve stamina and if not, can he even get past Joyce because if any fighter is going to test your gas tank, it's Joyce.

But let's pretend he beats Joyce. Look how Kabayel dealt with Zhang compared to Hrgovic? I wouldn't favour Hrgovic over Kabayel. Kabayel is very versatile and Hrgovic is very one dimensional and those body shots will deplete Hrgovic's gas tank. I think Kayabel stops him.

As for Parker, I don't think Hrgovic has the power or work rate to stop Parker, I also think Parker's defence won't be so easily penetrated by Hrgovic's predictable attacks, as Hrgovic really only has the right hand. Against the speed of Parker and the defence of Parker, I see Hrgovic getting out boxed and losing a clear decision.
