So, three weeks out with Dubois MIA, why do we think he cancelled?

Combination of Frank losing the prison tower key, and poor Daniel being strapped to the examination table with Egor and Count Dracula..

 

Same here. I need some more evidence for the PED theory which is plausible. Silence from Dubois might be just coming from him never being good at speaking to the media and not enjoying it.

 

Between Don Charles giving it the billy big b*llocks last week and being crazy aggressive around the whole thing, DDD's team clearly having no intention to honor the fight with Parker and moving straight into negotiations to fight Usyk, and the mixed messaging (Frank initially said the Medical Council told him not to fight, then talked about the medication being a factor - Don Charles says it was his and Daniel's fathers decision to pull him out)....Not saying Dubois bottled it but there is a lot more going on with it. He was medically cleared to fight

 

I reckon he might have been a bit sick and knew the Usyk fight was there so didn't want to risk a loss which was a real possibility imo.

I haven't given a lot of credence to the rumours of him pissing hot, but since bricktop has decided to say something about the meds from the Dr I do wonder

 

The more i think about this i believe the real reason is team dubois and team usyk secretly agreed to fight for the undisputed so they simply pulled dubois out to not risk he looses against parker what would crash the plan .

 

Anyone else thinking Dubois might be reprioritising his life? He wouldn't be The first boxer to rethink his future career and lose the motivation and fire after becoming a world champion.

Especially considering his unusual upbringing, by the sounds of it has dad has been pretty strict and hard on him since he was a young kid. Maybe he is getting a bit sick of it all and this is manifesting in him finding reasons not to fight.

Probably sick but not that sick but he didn't want to fight because he wasn't 100% sure he could fight, if he's a good man which I have no doubt he is then he'll give Parker the fight that was supposed to happen...

 

Yep, sounds like the Fury fiasco all over again with them suing UKAD to try to keep the results under wraps for as long as possible so he can go on to fight for the titles and get the payday before being suspended.

Dubois got some bad advice. I think someone pointed out to him that Parker had packed on like 20 lbs of muscle, and appeared very motivated, and that person convinced Dubois that he could simply pretend to be "sick", pull out at the last minute, and then face Usyk in a re-match. As of this writing, that appears to have blown up in his face. He lost a lot of money by not fighting Parker, and now Usyk has been ordered to fight Parker next. Parker got an easy win against a last-minute replacement, and is lined up to fight Uysk, and Dubois is left with absolutely nothing. . .his credibility is shot, and he does not have another fight lined up yet, as of this writing.

 

He ducked, plain and simple. He didn't train, is full of himself and thought Parker was easy work. He was totally fine in all pressers and the day before the fight too. He looked fat and puffy to me as well, whereas Parker came out looking big, strong, fast and healthy. Fish Eyes pulled him out because he knew there was a huge chance Dubois would lose and lose badly. Dubois is already suspect and has gotten this far through favorable match-ups and beneficial reffing; He's a paper champ that got KO'd by a jab from the TRUE Heavyweight king. Parker would have knocked him out or Dubois would have quit once he gassed and realized he could foul his way to a victory.

If he was genuinely ill then they should have just announced a postponement of the Parker fight rather than cancelling it altogether.

 

Everyone knows that he is not the world champion ! just a phoney title imo
