Usyk has two close, but uncontroversial, victories over Fury.

I can see the argument for a third match if Fury beats a few top contenders for a final payday, but it's highly unlikely. They're both well and truly past their respective prime.

They both gave it their all in a great 1st fight, Fury fell short and all of his discipline issues through his career came to be his shortfall, he knows it. After Chisora he got heavily out of shape then dropped by Francis that's not how he should have prepared....and I think the cut helped him because in that 1st camp footage he was unduly having sparring wars.

Again gave their all in the rematch, both much more defensivly sound but Fury falling short down the stretch again as his feet slowed. Both looking worser for wear and now both on their death beds at 37 & 38 years old. Time to retire. they still have enough legs to easily bat around these plodding sluggers but so what. If Fury or Usyk decisioned a Kabayel or Parker or Dubious nobody gives much credit for it.

I don't think anyone (outside Fury's immediate family and Miniq) thinks Fury won the first fight. Troll post

Remember that Usyk not only had to beat AJ and Belly twice a piece to ''prove he was the better man'' and receive the credit for doing so once (albeit they've subsequently obviously tried very hard to diminish those wins since and walk back the credit they were loathe to give him) but let's not also forget how many voices there were out there calling for AJ to receive a third crack at trying to best his Cossack leprechaun surrogate father or how they had managed to convince themselves that the ''new'' whilst simultaneously ''old' ''Boxercise Ben'' trained AJ was going to not only beat him this time but KO him

We've seen the same with Dubois who was ''robbed of a KO victory'' over Usyk in their first fight and who Usyk would definitely duck a rematch against the ''new and improved'' Dubois.

Now Usyk wants to fight him he's ''ducking'' J-Park who is a much more ''dangerous fight '' for Usyk despite the fact Dubois is one of the top 3 hardest punchers in the division, has performed much better vs all the common opponents he shares with J-Park, and J-Park has arguably lost at least 6 times

I'm not knocking J-Park, and I too would rather see Usyk vs him than Dubois, but it's simply the truth

Usyk is damned if he do, damned if he don't

Fury-Usyk aside, Pacquiao really should not have granted Marquez a 4th shot. Officially Pacquiao was up 2-0-1, in reality it was 3-0 as Pac was robbed of a win after a judge admitted he scored the first bout wrong.

One punch really got Marquez named in the same breath as a legend like Pacquiao by boxing fans forever, when he deserves nothing of the sort.

Nah, Usyk is probably the most loved and least hated boxer in recent memory.

I almost wish Usyk stopped Joshua in round 12 of their first fight. His corner instructed him not to go for the ko and he obliged. But i wish he ko'd Joshua.

This way we could have likely avoided the Joshua rematch and have Usyk fight Parker or Joyce (back when Joyce was on top) or Zhang which would have been an interesting southpaw vs southpaw match up. I think Usyk would win all of these but it would have been nice or Usyk's legacy to fight different styles at heavyweight.

The Fury fight should have happened in early 2023 at the earliest. Usyk could have beaten Fury twice in 2023 and then defended his titles 3-4 times by now before retiring. His legacy would most likely be a top 10 atg heavyweight.

Nah. Fury's had two bites at the apple and bit off too much both times. Just like AJ, He's now officially been X2 Usykified and crossed off the list.

Anyway, I thought he's said he's retired (again).

If he's not gonna stay retired, fight AJ.

I'm sure Turki will fund it.

A lot of sweeping assumptions here, presented as fact. I particularly love the line 'his subtle work, unseen to the average human eye.' Must be just those special Fury fans who saw it...
No, Usyk won two close but clear fights. No need for a third unless Fury earns his shot again.

Marquez won nearly every round other than the disaster in the first round

Also many including me thought he should have gotten the decision in the third fight. Hence the reason for number 4
