Ortiz is a good fighter but looks very beatable to the naked eye.

Rodriguez but both can be great and if I’m honest I’m more impressed with Ortiz’s career so far. Kavaliauskas Bohachuk Madrimov is a good set of wins

I think about the same, Jesse is benefitting more right now because he’s much bigger than his opponents though.

That tends to happen when you're fighting prime beasts instead of past it old shot has beens.

Both very exciting and explosive fighters but I think Bam Rodriguez has more potential to go a bit further in his career. More skilled boxer and better defense.

You mean potential for getting arrested for graverobbing and elder abuse? Bam-Rod hands down

There's an infinitely higher chance of Vergil fighting 10 elite Japanese brothers who are in their primes than there is of Bam-Rod ever fighting 1 despite the fact Vergil's a 154 pounder and Bam-Rod is 115. How the hell does that work?

I never got the Bam hype. He’s a cheap imitation of Loma. Don’t get me wrong he’s still elite, but he’s not fighting prime elite monsters like Vergil is.

Yes, he's not only a shameless opportunist, a grave robber, a care home raiding elder abuser, he's also a thief who stole Loma's style to use to beat up moribund geriatrics and fallen warriors who have literally been dead for thousands of years.

Bam is the better, more complete fighter. It’s not that Ortiz isn’t a top fighter, but Bam fights at a higher level. And it has nothing to do with size or age of anyone. He is just that good.
Bam will have the bigger legacy if he stays healthy and focused.

I don’t see it. Let’s see Bam do what he’s doing against prime monsters like Vergil is doing and I’ll be convinced. Everyone passes the eye test until they fight a real live dog.

Vergil last two performances if they fell in calendar year would be worthy of fighter of the year. He was a wrecking ball at 147 that I thought had vulnerabilities and a tendency to just get into a war. But his last performance against Madrimov was very mature and he's shown a lot of heart.

Bam is creating a legacy but unfortunately hasn't had the dance partners in their primes, but he's got a decent string of wins.

i dont know what that means, what is it that you dont see? what do you see wrong with his technique, his heart, his conditioning, performances? what weakness in the package do you see? maybe then i can understand what it is that you use to asses fighters.

I said I don’t see him being better than Vergil. Everyone passes the eye test when they’re beating lower level competition. Bam beat older “names” in a division where fighters age terribly. If Bam fights the likes of a young prime champ like Nakatani, then I can start comparing him to Vergil. Vergil would ice everyone Bam fought in like 4 rounds if they were the same size.
