Would Zhang destroy the chins of Chuvalo, Vitali, Tua, old Foreman, Mccall, Tony Tucker, Cobb

If Zhang lands flush like Sanders did, I think Vitali goes down.

 

Vitali would brutalize Zhang in his prime past prime and in a nursing home cafeteria any day of the week

imagine Zhang with Fury’s gas tank. He’d be a danger to the entire division.

 

I don't Hrgovic was able to soak up Zhang's best punches and survive and its not like Hrgovic is anything special.

His only standout attribute is his chin.

 

I'd say Hrgović has better chin than Vitali. I don't think Klitschko would whitstand the bombarding DDD did on the Croatian.

 

thing is Zhang is not a very good finisher. His only recent KO's were against Joyce & Wilder although great KO's im not trying to take away from but wilder and joyce weren't defensively sound and the poor defensive work is something I dont see many of the fighters OP listed to do. Not to say I dont see him being able to knock them down or hurt them but he fails to finish the job and capitalise on his knockdowns. we would be lying to say he knocks everyone out lol. he might have the power to knock them down but finish them off? idk.

Also don't think we've seen how Zhang deals with many big punchers power himself. Hard to say he doesn't get into trouble himself especially against punchers with a gas tank that can go past 6 rounds lol.

I think that if any of these guys would just stay against Zhang and take his punches by the head like Joyce did he would knock them all out. But guys like Vitali, Foreman, McCall and Tua actually had defense. They weren't defensive wizards like Byrd or Toney or Jimmy Young, but they didn't let you hit them to the chin for free. Well, they didn't unless they were on crack

 

Hrgovic better chin ? That's premature

 

Realistically, Zhang could knock out anyone, but it seems to me that he gathers a lot of strength for that one punch and then gets tired...

 

Vitali was much better defensively than Hrgovic, so his chin wasn't tested as much...

 

Honestly, I don't think Zhang knocks them all out. He might get to Randal because Randal was reckless and fought with his face, but the rest? Na, no chance. I have always said Zhang is somewhat overrated and feel a bit vindicated by the Kabayel, and Parker fights. Sure, he hits hard, he is accurate, his timing, technique and punch placement are excellent...until he gasses. He'd be better getting a taxi to the ring rather than having a ring walk his tank is so meagre.

 

Old George had maybe the greatest chin ever seen in boxing. The 18 or 19 clean shots that Holyfield (who was no pillow fist) hit him with in a row…it’s actually insane that not only did George not go down, he never looked like going down.

On the other hand, alleged Chinese Superman Zhang couldn’t get Kabayel, Hrgovic, Parker, Rudenko or Jerry Forrest (whoever the hell that is) out of there. Yet we are expected to believe that he KO’s George goddamn Foreman? Because of Joe Joyce, the dumbest heavyweight on the planet?

There are some really stupid people on this site.

 

Forrest underrated, beat Franklin and Hunter. If he got the decisions he'd be a bigger name.

Also, Forrest was on his way out but Zhang had liver issues. If you watch the fight he basically stops throwing completely after 4. He has stam issues but he doesn't gas that quickly usually

Rudenko has never been stopped fairly. He's fought some very good fighters and his only KO loss is a terrible stoppage. He has one of the best chins in the division
