He gets hit a decent amount but not fully clean very often.

He sometimes gets hit clean like that shot from AJ he got hit with or uppercut by Fury. I don't think Wilder would be good enough to do this tho. Too predictable.

Usyk is one of the best defensive fighters in the sport and if he isn't then he has the greatest chin of all time. By that logic Dosser could easily KO Ali given how much he got hit and if a Euro level 22lb lighter Henry Copper who was a couple of pounds heavier than Bivol is could literally drop him like a sack of potatoes and only be robbed of a certain KO win by the bell and cheating in the corner then surely we all can agree The Dosser could do much worse to him, right?

In history, who could beat him in a technical fight, I’m going to list some that have a chance; obviously none of them would clearly outbox him, but these are guys who have a chance of getting the better of him in a technical boxing match.
Mairis Briedis (on another day he could’ve got that decision), Michael Spinks, Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes if he doesn’t struggle with southpaws, Chris Byrd may be able to outbox and befuddle him, but Usyk being the master at adapting that he is would close the ring off and force Byrd to work more than he wants and take him down the stretch.
If big men like Lewis are able to keep him at range and force Usyk into being too defensive to be able to do anything, I didn’t include guys like that because that would be Lewis using his size to neutralise Usyk’s skill.

How many southpaws did Marciano, Frazier and Tyson fight? Did they even have experience against journeymen southpaws in sparring? There were no southpaw HW’s of much note (Mildenberger was likely the most prominent, who gave 1966 Ali a tough fight and landed a lot) prior to Moorer in the 90’s (a chinny blown-up LHW) beating Holyfield and capturing a title. And while Chisora isn’t a champion fighter in the 2010’s/2020’s, he is a roided 250 pounder, which 50’s pressure fighters certainly were not.

Well, Usyk does get hit often enough which is why we know he has an excellent chin, as he has upheld to date. His whiskers have played no mean role in his successes.

He’s a terrific boxer but one whose boxing abilities, including his defence, can still be overrated, just as even past great fighters can be touted to be more than what they actually were.

At times Usyk was outboxed by a Fury full and well into his decline. Hate to say it- but Usyk is not untouchable.

No one is untouchable and anybody can be beat. Only actual fights count though, hypotheticals are a cool intellectual exercise

Usyk was older and smaller than Fury plus into his decline as well. And it was only like 4 round stretch at best. The fight is 12 rounds.

Sure, the legendary can crusher Mike Tyson wins all fantasy matchups early by KO. But in reality, with 2025 testing, a jacked to the gills Tyson would either get popped for PEDs or gas out in 5 rounds and get stopped. If any of you think in 2025 Tyson could juice the way he did in the late '80s and early '90s, you’re out of your mind.

usyk is not untouchable , nobody is . So you saying older Usyk was in his prime , while younger Fury was well past his best ?:D. If that was usyk from the first joshua fight Fury would have been stopped twice , unfortunately Usyk was more past prime than Fury.
