Roy Jones Jr's 'prime' coincidently ended the second he faced Antonio Tarver?

I suggest that you read through the read.

    Most posters have refuted it.

To me, an athlete who has been cheating for years, doesn’t just suddenly stop doing it.

Possibly, maybe he just ****ed his cycle up when he was trying to downsize after rapidly gaining weight

Roid Jones Jr. met his match with Tarver and his fanboys have been crying and making excuses about it ever since.

    Nobody is crying.

Tarver was a very good fighter.

But he didn’t get Roy in his prime, and he couldn’t beat a clearly depleted version of Roy in their first fight.

So he gets credit, but not huge credit.

Roid Jones Jr. sudden and rapid decline despite taking very little damage in the early portions of his career. One of the great "mysteries" of boxing.

Funny that his fans claimed he was completely shot against Tarver but then a few years later they were all so confident that he would whip Danny Green's ass and we all know what happened there.

Tarver is 1 year older than Jones lol. Sure not everyone ages the same, but it's not like Roid had taken a ton of damage or had been very injury prone either. Most greats don't go south overnight like Roid did.

Because you can only see it one way. Roy might have already past his prime and the second Tarver fight ended his career at the top level. Getting brutally KO'd in addition to weight fluctuations during your mid 30s while being a reflexive fighter can lead to rapid decline. He accomplished great things before this and couldn't repeat the feats

Roid likely had to quit his PED cold turkey and fought even more scared after his glass jaw got shattered.

I believe Roy’s prime was ended after Heavyweight. Dropping that much mass at that age when those heavyweight fights fell through, had to have taken an everlasting toll.

Glass Jaw Roy had a carefully crafted career. Roy had No Chin. None.

If he had glass why wasn't it shattered before

The move up to heavyweight and back down killed Jones (not so much Tarver). How many have you seen do that type of thing? Once they move up to heavyweight, they stay there (or a weight move, especially as they are in advanced years). Boiling back down from Heavyweight to light heavyweight is insane. Even a jump down to Cruiser from there is a stretch.

You not only risk being excommunicated from the cult if you dare to speak the truth about Roy, his steroid addiction, his avoidance of savage punchers during his steroid enhanced prime, his penchant for blood sports and animal cruelty, his deviant sexual ways, the litany of fantastical excuses for his losses, and his hideously fragile old lady glass jaw you also risk persecution and death.

I have personally received numerous death threats on here via PM from deranged Roy cultists for speaking truth to power about their glass-jawed Messiah and for exposing both him, the endless lies and excuses.

The most recent one threatening to decapitate me was only a few months ago. I sent him a death threat right back and my address details
