He could barely walk when he fought Bellew second time and that was about half a decade ago. Maybe more.
I hope to never see David Haye in the ring again. The Englishman was a great cruiser and did well in heavyweight but he was already finished at the time of fights with Bellew. Years have passed and this 2025 Hayemaker will turn 45, father time is undefeated.
I can genuinely see Fury taking this fight. Fury would only come back for huge money or easy money at this point, and Haye is an easy payday. They’d be able to sell the fight with fake trash talk and get millions of UK casuals to tune in. Bill it as a long overdue fight finally taking place after it was cancelled back in 2013.
It would be so embarrassing if Fury took this fight. He would be taking the Jake Paul route almost if he took this fight. This is helped by the fact that Haye looked appalling against Bellew in his last fight which was 7 years ago.
He must be so frustrated to see how much money is floating around boxing these days. I bet his ridiculous ‘ throuple ‘ is pretty expensive too. He must absolutely dread a Saturday afternoon up the shops.
Won’t happen, his knees are completely shot. Speaking of knees, what ever happened to Sergio Martinez comeback? He fought in 2023 but then nothing since
I wouldn't mind seeing him against Klitschko for old times sake, or a freak fight against someone like Paul, even a run at Bridgerweight if we he looks any good. But I don't want to see him against any legit contenders or belts.
