Wilder is the man who defines Fury's legacy the most. What does that say about him?

Was Fury right all along? Was Wilder merely just a Big Dosser?

Sadly Fury only fought dossers and old men.

Wilder could never box. He was quick with a long reach and could catch guys when they felt safe and relaxed. He covered a lot of ground with that right. He just couldn’t box at a top level.
But I agree with some of what’s been said, he did well for himself on the big stage, given his limitations.

Wilder tried his best he was just no match for Fury. Toney however like a lot of his peers who won multiple world titles was caught red handed on the juice.

A great fighter and a wise man.

Also the author of one of my favorite all-time boxing quotes. "I don't know him, and I don't like him."

I think his transformation between Ortiz 2 and Fury 2 was the bigger red flag.
Having said that, I am of the opinion these days that most of the pros are juicing (especially those at the top, which includes Joshua and Wilder). PED tests seem to be just another weapon in a promoter or org's arsenal to make sure the correct people hold the titles/get the fights, rather than an actual effort to clean up the sport. Don't think boxing as a sport will ever be cleaned up; same goes for the Olympics. Like imagine if they have that "Olympics with PEDs" and all those world records still stand. lol
Anyway, back to topic. Wilder being a clean athlete is not a hill I would be looking to die on

I like Toney, but he’s out of his mind if he thinks Wilder was a failure, since reality says otherwise.

Wilder definitely could’ve been more coachable during his career, but nobody that earned and accomplished what Wilder did in his career is failure.
