    Qawi vs
    Tommy Jackson
    1956 Archie Moore
    Roy Harris
    Tom McNeely
    Brian London
    Ingemar Johannson
    George Chuvalo
    Henry Cooper
    Jerry Quarry
    Jimmy Ellis

I left out Liston and Ali because, let's face it, those would be forgone conclusions. Qawi can come in at 175 or 190, whatever weight you feel serves him best.

I’d probably favour him over all of them except Jimmy Ellis, Marciano took a piece of Moore even though he was still world class after it, Johansson isn’t nimble enough and only has the right hand which Qawi is class at taking away, Quarry would be a good fight, but I feel Qawi can roll under when Quarry opens up, Quarry wasn’t the best straight puncher, which would allow Qawi to get under, on his chest where the short arms of Qawi can beat him to the punch.
Jimmy Ellis would be able to stay nimble and use his feet and jab to stay away and time uppercuts occasionally.
Prime for prime I favour Moore over Qawi.

I'd favor Qawi over the likes of Harris, McNeeley, & London.

I'd favor Moore in his prime over Qawi, but idk how close he still was to that @ the time he fought Patterson.

Ellis & Johansson are the most intriguing IMO - would they be able to use their fast right hands to keep Qawi @ bay & then outbox him a la Spinks, or would Qawi be able to close the gap & test either 1's durability?

So besides the ones listed, you think Qawi beats the rest?

I think he only loses to Jimmy Ellis at heavyweight out of those, the other people I listed were just who I think stands the best chance, I’d probably give the version of Moore that Patterson beat, the best chance of beating Qawi, because I’d pick Moore from or before the Marciano fight to beat Qawi.
I’d also say that Qawi against Ellis would be very close, if they were to meet at 190lbs or below, I’d favour Qawi.

I legitimately think he could go 10-0, if he's at his best for them all. He did some great work with Holyfield at 190, and he was a much better heavyweight than any of these. Moore, Quarry and Ingo are the biggest threats imo (although I've seen very little of Ellis), and I think the Qawi from the Holyfield fight could beat all three of them.

Can't see Ingo outboxing Qawi. Ellis has a good shot at outboxing Qawi.

Dwight Qawi was a very good and tough fighter at both light heavy and cruiser. Therefore I accept the possibility that he might have beaten some of the men listed in this thread.

Get real Qawi would be the best fighter Liston fought LOL… oh maybe besides Patterson but Patterson had a much different skill set and durability issues…. Ali does Qawi in badly, not a match up I’d enjoy seeing but Liston isn’t a forgone winner… at 190lbs Dwight probably makes him look stupid the entire time and smacks him up, Dwight wasn’t hurt by Foreman and it took him gassing out to do him in (he can take the blows) fight 15 rounds HARD and was by far BY FAR the most skilled opponent Liston would fight - forgone conclusion?

I think he goes one step further and might beat Liston and improve on Ol Patterson.

Qawi beats all with the possible exception of Ellis. That would be a very close fight though.

Can't see Qawi lasting vs the Liston of 1958-63
