With those two beasts Clashing head to head I don't see the fight getting past the fifth tbh.

    Joe Frazier, not jnr
    Mike Tyson, not Big dosser.

It is rather difficult to see that fight going the distance giventhat it would be fought almost exclusively on the inside with non stop punches being thrown, all of which hard ones.

The first few rounds would be tough for Joe no doubt. Personally I have a hard time seeing him going past them.

Speed and power of Tyson early on tested the best of chin s.
No one can question Joe's heart, if it was fought on that alone then Joe wins every time and beats the very best

But going by chins taking power shots, I've got to give it to Tyson ev time.

There would be zero leeway for one of his trademark slow starts.

Frazier truly needs to survive the first four and starts his engine, maybe Tyson if he finishes Frazier during those rounds, but if it goes the distance after that rounds Tyson would have to eat all those smokes.

Peak Tyson vs FOTC Frazier--man that is a war to end all wars!!

It would certainly not go the distance. I think Frazier gets staggered early by Tyson--maybe hits the canvas. But FOTC Frazier was so damn tough and iron-willed! Very few--if ANY fighter had Frazier's heart and courage!! I think he could survive Tyson's early onslaught--and once Joe started smokin' and was able to take the fight beyond the first 4-5 rounds he would wear Tyson down with punishing body shots along with non-stop aggression.

TKO or stoppage for Joe somewhere around 10-11 rounds. (FOTC Joe that is---he would have to be in that type of physical and mental condition to beat peak Tyson. Any lesser version and Joe loses.)

If the fight is over early, more than likely Tyson wins, say with in the 1st five rds
However if it gets past five or six rds , then Frazier's chances go up exponentially.
If Frazier somehow is still around in 7-8 rds.
    He wins.
Tyson gets dropped and stopped while looking for his mouth piece.

Frazier if he can get inside and stay there might grind Tyson down, Tyson has shown his hand on the inside when he had to and it’s not a royal flush like you’d expect for his stature, Frazier won’t oblige him to clinch but working his way in (more like they’ll meet in the middle) will be a horrible experience for a guy hit as often as Frazier, Dwight Qawi was insulted to be compared to Frazier saying he never got hit. All of Frazier major fights have shown a propensity to be in firing range, he wasn’t elusive or hard to find I think personally there is more of a chance of Tyson splattering him on the way in warming up in 1-4 then there is Frazier surviving with his defence till round 10 and taking over, If Frazier wins it’d be a drawn out beating for only rounds 12-15 with Tyson being there the whole fight, gassed or not and still dangerous he’d never win “dominantly” and might still get stopped later, he was just out in the open a lot and with Tyson’s hand speed/power he might just snatch a late game win.

In his prime credit to Tyson he was looking for his mouth piece in Tokyo…. Against Lennox he let him have a clean kill, could’ve found a way to quit that was easier arm breaking BS biting whatever but no he owed it to the new champ.

Would be brutal watching this, and what a fight this would have been.

Prime for prime? I think Mike Tyson stops Frazier in the early to mid rounds in a war similar to how Foreman stopped Frazier with those uppercuts.

I feel the same,Bokaj. I doubt as to whether it would go beyond four or five rounds. Joe simply would n't get the oppurtunity to get going.

Tyson in three or four. Contrary to most i think Joe's best chance is to hurt Tyson early. Tyson isn't Foreman.
