Not saying who would win but I'd love to see Bivol fight Tommy Hearns of the Andries fight. Gonne be battle of the jabs right there

    Foster and,Hearns could beat him.
He isn't out jabbing either Foster or Hearns.
Sergy I think would get off to a good start and then when something didn't go his way would fall apart.
JC might actually be a huge problem because the jab against a southpaw is not as effective but JC would have 0 power at lightheavy.
Ward is a weird one because he had an incredible boxing IQ and he possessed a good jab as well.
But Bivol is much more proven at this weight so I would give Bivol the nod.
Dwight would have a hard time with the jab and movement and he movement.
Moore at lightheavy was an animal but Leaslie Stewart caused him huge issues with movement and Bivol is much better.

Calzaghe wasn't really a LHW in his pomp.. he fought there at the end of his career because he was getting lazy & disinterested in boxing & training.. his well documented struggle with injury issues also added to his disillusionment.. those 2 fights were age related cash out fights.

    He isn't beaten Moorer imo
He wouldn't beat Jones jr or Spinks if they were added to the list

    Edit
Dwight Muhammad may win and I am not counting out Ward either

On that list the only ones who trouble him are Ward and Calzaghe but I'd favour him to beat them all.

Loses to Foster. Loses to Qawi. Probably loses to Kovalev.

Beats Calzaghe. Even if Calzaghe was at his peak at 175, i still favour Bivol. I think Bivol understands how to deal with southpaws as the Zurdo fight showed. Bivol is technically a better boxer than Calzaghe.

Moorer-Bivol is 50-50. Moorer was a HUGE puncher at 175 and perhaps his hook will cause Bivol to go into a shell. I do think Bivol is very good at handling the southpaw style but MM had a nuclear missile in his right hand. 50-50 fight for me.

Beats Ward in a close ugly fight. Depends on how much the ref allows Ward to get away with.

Beats Hearns who isn't a 175 lb guy.

Beats Darius. Bivol is technically far ahead of Darius.

Calzaghe didn't overly impress me at 175 so I think Bivol would beat him.

Hearns was very good at 175 no one ever beat him by outboxing him and Bivol is not a big puncher so it's a winnable fight for Hearns.

Qawi for a few years was an absolute force to be reckoned with Bivol hasn't got Spink's one punch KO power to keep Qawi honest so I think Bivol would have a hard time stopping the relentless Qawi coming forward.

Not a fan of Ward but he might be able to disrupt Bivol's technical boxing skills with his rough house tactics.

Moorer didn't face good competition at 175 so I'm not really sure how good he is regarding H2H ability but he's a Southpaw and a huge puncher so he's still a major problem.

Fosters reign wasn't the strongest but he has considerable height and reach advantages along with devastating 1 punch KO power a very tough match up for Bivol.

Michalczewski/Kovalev at their best are close to 50/50 match ups with Bivol.

Honestly there's not a chance in hell Bivol would run the gauntlet vs this opposition he'd win some and lose some its as simple as that.

Another thread where a modern fighter gets overrated v those of the past.Even as a Bivol fan there is absolutely no chance of him going undefeated against that lot.I would even go as far to say he loses more than he wins

Bivol goes 1-1 with Beterbiev and now everyone champions him as a potential GOAT at 175lbs?

Wow talk about recency bias

I’m assuming it’s out of respect that RJJ wasn’t added to this list
