The best players in the NBA are foreigners now and the best one is from a small country in the Balkans with a population of a mere 6.6 million. An ocean of baba tears and nonstop pathetic excuses being made to help people cope re. that too.

An American hasn't won MVP in years so I guess they must all be plying their trades in the NFL instead now that the NBA excuse has fallen apart

You were one of the biggest Fury nuthuggers, but you turned on him as soon as he lost, just to make sure Usyk gets no credit.
America's supremacy ended when the Cold War did. As soon as Eastern Europeans were allowed to participate, Americans ran to play football and basketball??
But this year will be the 7th year in a row that a foreigner wins the MVP award in the NBA, because the game is global now , same with boxing.

It's not just Eastern Europeans though, many countries around the world have a decent to good boxing infrastructure now unlike back in the day.

since we are talking about heavyweight division, Eastern Bloc fighters had the most influence, which is why I am mostly talking about them.

I understand that. That doesn't dispute my initial comment however.

wtf does that have to do with it? you asked a question, i answered. i dont take into account how insecure kids with an inferiority complex are going to feel about reality. they can deal with that however they want. the reality is that from the 70s-90s the talent level at hw was much higher. how that makes kids feel is a whole other discussion.

Fury is a jelly roll who's best win was over a 40 year old Wlad who he didn't rematch,. AJ has been on the canvas more than a welcome mat, Dubois hasn't proven anything at the top level yet and Chisora is a gatekeeper and this puts him into top 5 status?

Stop spazzing you sound very soft. You're either a female, or your testosterone levels are between 70 and 80. As a medical professional, I could tell you a lot more but I’m here to talk boxing. The sad reality is that from the ’70s to the ’90s, it was the American boxing championship. When the game went global, your boys went to play basketball, right? Too bad the best players in the NBA now are from Europe. I guess all that American talent moved on to donut-eating competitions?

    Yes.

If he beats Parker on top of that, definitely.

The 90s was pretty global and had a surplus of talent. The notion eastern europe countries weren't competing then is nonesense, the late 1990s was when american boxing was on the decline.

Say what you want about the 1970s but let's analyze if the American talent pool is actually comparable to the past. Ruiz, Hunter and Wilder were the best American heavyweights this era. That is terrible !!! 70s produced 2 all time great talents in Foreman and Ali and they all fought eachother
