Floyd by UD. I honestly think Floyd would’ve had a harder time against a southpaw like prime Lara than he would against Crawford. Crawford can switch stance, but he’s mostly effective as a southpaw and from what I’ve seen over the years, he’s very susceptible to getting hit with counter left hooks and straight right hand, and he does tend to throw punches to the body while living his chin exposed mid air, a systematic counter-puncher like Floyd would’ve capitalized on all of Crawford’s bad habits/tendencies and outclassed him to a 8-4 type of UD.

Off topic, I’ll probably be wrong, but I don’t see how Crawford is going to beat Canelo. Canelo throws some wicked left hooks to both the body and head, and he can land the straight right hand or overhand right to the head and body as well, and Crawford is very susceptible to get hit with those punches. As good as Crawford is, he’s not as defensively elusive as Floyd and Lara were when Canelo fought them.

Not too sure he would have ducked Bud. I think it would depend on where Floyd was in his career. If he needed to go through Bud to get to the next level l, I think he would have fought him.

Honestly..... Castillo, Mosley, Manny, Oscar, and Cotto. And these are the versions Floyd fought who ate better than anyone Crawford has faced

Floyd did play it a little safe late on,BUT his resume is absolutely stacked. He's just hated because he's a dick and will never be rated fairly

    Is he TBE? No
Is he one of the most skillful boxers in history? Yes

    He would beat Crawford

How good was he in comparisons to today's 135 pounders?

I lean towards Crawford in that one. He'll beat Canelo by jabbing and moving. He has a longer reach and better feet, and his jab is a power punch. I don't see how Canelo can beat Crawford, it would have to be by Bud fighting a dumb fight.
People have gone silly about that Madrimov fight, when Madrimov is the worst style for Bud and has far better footwork and awkwardness than Canelo.
