Wow a battle of veterans in Japan today !

I think it's the last fight of the career of the former world WBC Flyweight contender Navapon Khaikanha / Nawaphon Sor Rungvisai the Thai have 5 loses for 62 victories (50KOs) and 1 draw, he was against Mugicha Nakagawa former Shingo Wake & Kyonosuke Kameda's rivals 36 years old 30 victories now (19KOs) for 11 loses and 1 draw

Hate to see it... but they have to fix the Thai system and build their fighters up with stronger in country competition before they start taking on the Japanese guys....

The problem is that Navapon is one of the best boxers in Thailand and has 69 professional fights actually.

I remember when he got destroyed by Navarrete. He's fun to watch but he's always just been a can crusher who failed when stepping up in class.

God, I hate his style so much because of my experience in gyms. That uppercut from a lanky, taller southpaw is such a nuisance.

I'm aware of his record and followed him for years.... my comment is focused on how the Thai fighters don't face enough stiff competition by fighting some of the best in their country before taking on a fight with a good boxer in another country... it happens very rarely where the best fighters from Thailand face each other....which leaves them ill prepared when they have a big step in competition
