Sonny Liston or Wladimir Klitschko who rates higher as a all time heavyweight?

His movement was good but he was so friggin gun shy to let his hands go.

Fury's movement and range was excellent though his style completely detered Wlad. It's a real shame we didn't get a rematch.

It should be quite the trilogy fight. As boatloads of power in this matchup. Not quite who ranks higher but as a head to head let's see...
1st to three wins...prevails.

Fight 1- 5W KO Liston (wlad down once)
Fight 2- 15W Liston. (liston down 12th, wlad 2x 14th) 432-413 (three scorecards combined)
Fight 3- 15W Wlad (liston down 14) 431-422 (three scorecards combined) Wlad had the upper hand throughout.
Fight 4- 15W liston (wlad down 4th, 10th Liston down 11th) 428-421. Wlad made it quite a fight but kd's was the difference..

But credit to Wladimir he improved with the fight's

 

It depends on how I am ranking them: If by Legacy, I am going with Wladimir Klitschko. If head to head, I am going with Sonny Liston.

 

Absolutely!! And that goes all ways though

 

Liston has always been my #5 heavyweight and Wlad outside the top 10. I do think that has a lot to do with my perception of Liston as a h2h monster.
