    Usyk by a distance imo.

Dempsey beat more guys, but never anyone as good as Joshua let alone Fury.

    Usyk.

Look i am a big fan of Dempsey. But even if we look at his pre title reign, he missed out on Wills and Langford. Yes, you can make a case that because he only had a 15 month period when he was tearing through the division, it wasn't enough time to fight everyone. But i do wish Kearns had the guts to put Dempsey up against Wills pre title.

Usyk has cleaned out his division in a relatively short period. There is no argument against him being the best of his era. He has beaten Joshua x 2, Fury x 2 and Dubois.

    Quality of quantity for me.

Now if Dempsey had beaten Wills and 1-2 other guys, i would choose him. But 5 defenses in 7 years? Not fighting Wills pre title? Come on.

Dempsey competition was pretty bad even in the context of his era since he avoided all the best black fighters. Usyk beat all the best fighters of his era all of whom are better then anyone Dempsey beat

I don't have either in my top 10, but for me, Usyk best the best of his era and Dempsey didn't so Usyk ranks higher...

Usyk by a country mile. Not only has he beaten better fighters, but he is also undefeated.

Dempsey may have had a bigger impact on boxing as a sport, but their records speak pretty clearly.

If Usyk retired tomorrow, I'd tend to have him ahead of Dempsey. If he gets beat though, it might feel different.

Kind of worried about a rematch with Dubois tbh. Usyk has clearly slowed down imo and Dubois has improved.

How'd you feel about Dubois in general swag? Think he's any Liston-y?

Usyk but had to vote for Dempsey because he's my 4th favorite.

Yeah I definitely get Liston vibes from him.

He REALLY surprised me against Joshua but I think Joshua's declined due to multiple factors such as aging, confidence (after his 3 losses, particularly his rematch to Usyk), and wear and tear. I think this decline was masked by the level of his competition post Usyk.
