I wouldn't really describe AJ as competitive at all against Usyk.

 

He was in the second fight.

 

For one round maybe. Usyk had him handled relatively easily otherwise.

 

I dont class AJ as a fraud, bit **** that he never got in with Wilder/Fury but think he met most of the others around him of note

This is an accurate post.
And it's surprising to find so many of those gullible AJ fans on a dedicated boxing forum like this one. Some seemingly knowledgeable hardcore boxing fans seem to have fallen for the AJ hype too.

Wallin and Ngannou were very clever cherry picks, with the 'Fury went life and death' angle.. AJ fans loved that.

I expect more of the same in 2025. They might get Del Boy War Chisora to help them out. Or Dillian Whyte.

 

This thread should be preserved to showcase the absolute insanity that fans of HW boxing had to endure in 2024 as Joshua version 3.0 was hyped to all hell.

Let me get this straight...the two time unified champ is the biggest fraud in boxing? In an era w/ Wilder at that. Guess what that says about the rest of the division, namely those who haven't even won a belt. Mostly proves what a terrible and pathetic HW era this really is.

 

Losing your GIFTED belts to Ruiz Jr on 3 weeks notice then winning them back doesn't make you a two time champion, it makes you a bum. Buying a belt off Charles Martin doesn't make you a champion. It makes you a manufactured bum. Getting gifted belts for beating out of retirement 50 year old Wlad doesn't make you a champion it makes you a BUM. Getting gifted a gold medal after losing to Savon clearly doesn't make you an Olympian it makes you a BUM who is favoured through corruption. To conclude, BUM CITY DOSSER. NEVER BEAT A REIGNING CHAMPION. Manufactured. Fraud. I'd knock him out myself.

The current crop coming in right now are way better than AJ and they don't need a belt to prove it. Kabayel was forged in the fires of mount doom. Dubious got knocked down on his paper round and got back up and forged onwards without hesistation. Martin Bakole will make a name for himself despite his Parker fumbling. 3 men right there who have more quality and grit than AJ's entire bloodline combined.

Since the loss, this guy has been posting non-stop about how Joshua was all of a sudden past his best in the Dubois fight.

So if Joshua "annihilates" Dubois, it's because Joshua is elite and prime.
If Dubois "annihilates" Joshua, Joshua is SUDDENLY way past his best.

This is fanboy logic.
