    Toney late stoppage.

Toney will get stunned early on due to Morrison's superior speed and power but Morrison will likely overdo it and not pace himself accordingly.

Toney will counter him and land with enough frequency and consistency to force a stoppage.

    Toney tko 8.

Toney hurts Tommy with counters and finally pulls out the rug in the 9th. KO,

I think James superior defence and accurate counterpunching means he wins a clear decision with some rocky moments. I don't think he stops Tommy, but wouldn't be surprised if he did. He at least drops him a couple of times with flash knockdown counters.

I don't know, Tommy went after Ray Mercer and tried to knock him out and it went bad because he didn't get it done due to Mercers solid chin. Same with the Bentt loss after stunning him he went for it and got tagged. If Tommy picks his spots and boxes like he did with Foreman he could win, I mean Morrison actually has the edge in speed and power just not in ring savvy..

The Foreman that Morrison beat had concrete boxes for feet. I know that James likes to stay in the pocket but when he decides to move his feet are way faster than George's and way faster than Tommy's. James would have a field day with Tommy.

James had a pretty serious injury to his ankle from his football days and was less mobile, especially as a Heavyweight. (He was crazy fast, as a Middleweight, on his feet doe)

He would be catching, rolling and countering Morrisons shots, on the inside, 'til the roosters come home.

At which point Morrison would be pretty funked up.

    Toney by wide margined decision.

    James was NEVER KNOCKED OUT.

You do understand that a fighters eyes play a huge part in how a fighter eats a shot, don't you?

Is Tommy going to out box James, or somerhing?

I dont know Toney vs Peter was pretty competitive and I think Morrison is smarter with more ability than Peter but not as durable. What does he do better ? It's a near 50/50 fight to me. Both reached world level at heavyweight, neither were elite

It’s why I favour James against a lot of HW’s he had a helluva chin and proved it against Samuel Peter and Rahman who both had there most famous moments rocking or stopping Lennox Lewis and Wlad Klitschko big ol 240lbs 6ft5 fighters… guys as susceptible to gassing out with a very straight up and down style like Morrison, Foreman and Holyfield (to a degree) would all be mulched by James if he was around 200lbs-210lbs, he didn’t need to use his feet at HW a lot of guys thought they could overpower the former 160lber and didn’t realise he was an ex football player, they walked straight to him - Morrison doesn’t bring power he hasn’t seen, doesn’t bring skills of any kind to bother James? Guys he fought on the way up as a MW are twice as good as Morrison, James would IMO toy with Morrison the way he did an aging Holyfield the class difference would be stupid and if he’d started off as a HW or CW who knows how he’d be remembered.

    What does who do better?

Whether you like it or not, Toney was elite.

The gifts that Bill Miller gave to him were enormous.

James Toney was 233lbs and 38 years old or course he’s gonna look less then he should his “true” weight should’ve been and would’ve been around 190lbs-200lbs in the past… he’s 40+lbs or so overweight and over a decade past his prime in that fight lol.

Not an elite heavyweight, neither was Morrison. Holyfield was shot to pieces. Toney is a better fighter, i give him a good shot at winning this obviously, but I'm confused on why everybody is sold on him at heavyweight like his record up there is levels above
