Joyce looks like George Foreman just not as good or with the world titles or wins or legacy or announcing gig
Joyce is too slow and his chin has been cracked too many times. I think Hrgovich stops him inside the distance.
Joyce is looking good at the weigh in. Hrgovic is at a career high weight. I am changing my prediction to Joyce winning by late TKO.
Just watched the presser. **** me Joe is a big man, isn't he. Adeyle looked, and acted, like a child next to him. I've got a massive soft spot for Joe, always seems like such a lovely fella. Hope he pulls out the win. Hrgovic always seems so arrogant.
Would be shocked if Hrgo loses this. He needs to get his **** together. He went from looking like he'd be a champ to looking like he'll be the next Pulev.
Joyce has better wins and both fighters fought Parker at their peak. Styles make fights for sure but Joyce demolished him and got him out of there. Whyte was given some hefty leeway in that fight if we're being generous to him and he still nearly lost the fight at the death. Joyce's star shone brief but I think he was the better fighter prime for prime.
How this fight will look depend the most (imo) on Joe reaction to Filip punching power. Filip is younger, more dinamic and little quicker fighter. He will land more for sure but if he cant hurt Joyce this will be long, hard night for him. I expect Hrgovic win but he probably will must show brave character here. Joe still can come with high volume pressing. He throw 800+ punches in 10 rounds vs Chisora. He land more shots in 6 of 10 rounds. If he wasnt KD he will got this fight. Same if this was 12 rounds not 10 because he got best succses in last rounds where Chisora got crisis. If Hrgovic cant stop force him to think more this will be bloody hard fight. Hrgovic like take weird "break" in fights in some moments. Here he cant do it. We will see who want more this win. On paper Filip is better but same was vs Dubois. Hope he take this 110% seriously and learn lesson to not disregard opponent.
It's an interesting fight. Both fighters have strengths and weaknesses that feed right into each other. Hrgovic has stamina issues, Joyce can keep going and going, Joyce is very hittable and Hrgovic is fast and accurate with his hands. Both have excellent chins. Joyce, however, is firmly on the slide, while Hrgovic should still have his best years ahead of him. I think a Hrgovic decision is a sensible bet.
