Joseph Obey Joyce vs. Filip Hrgović & David Adeleye vs. Jeamie Tshikeva RBR.

Looking forward to this one. Be interesting to see how much Joyce has got in the tank and his much desire Hrgovic has to try and get back into contention.

Personally think Joyce is shot and his punch resistance has almost entirely gone so I think he'll be stopped on his feet mid-late.

An intriguing if not particularly exciting match up.

I see no other outcome than Joyce getting absolutely done here

 

Expect Joyce to retire after this fight but no doubt the Saudi Milk Round means he will earn a fortune against Whyte, Chisora and Joshua.

The latter name highly likely for his 3rd coming should Joyce get stopped tonight.

 

See Jamie TKV (honestly can't take him seriously for the TKV thing, makes him sound like a YouTuber) tried to do a Chisora with the table.

This title is beginning to resemble Female World Titles.

 

I will be rooting for Joyce and hope he can turn back the clock and win tonight, but like others, I can't anticipate anything more than an early Hirgovic stoppage or, even worse, a long, sustained beatdown.

Again, I feel it's a bad matchup for him, especially with the Whyte pull-out, and you can't help but feel for Joe as after beating Parker and beating him convincingly, his career has derailed faster than the stock market after Trump announced the tariffs.

Made worse by the fact that Joey12 is currently weighed down by Saudi riches and on the run of his career.

 

Even before the Saudi riches, Joey 12 made a fortune out of UK Box Office mugs.

A disgrace Joyce did not get the opportunity to fight for a World Title and aged out of contention.

 

Yup, the Zhang matchup literally overnight killed his career and confidence, I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but it's probably the worst matchmaking since Price v Thompson I/II

No way Chisora beats a pre-Zhang Joyce, and you'd favour the Joe who beat Parker to have walked through anything Hrgović brings to the table, much like Dubois did.

I really hope he win's tonight.

 

Difficult main event to call.

Joyce - we've all seen his decline. There's excuses - some valid - of course. Zhang and Chisora do hit hard, but Joe's habit of defending shots with his face seems to have caught up with him. Would love to know why he's seemingly abandoned the jab since the Dubois win.

Hrgovic's biggest challenges seem to be his heart and gastank. He threw the kitchen sink at Dubois but seemed to lose all motivation when he didn't finish it. Does he really want to be a boxer or is he just in it for money? And more to the point, is he motivated enough to perform like he did in the early rounds vs Dubois tonight?

If Hrgovic turns up, it's an early Croatian victory, if not it's a coin flip. Would love Joyce to give us another juggernaut performance, but fear those days are long gone now.
