Everyone go back and watch that first knockdown, I said in my last round recap his instructions for clinches were confusing as hell. He says break twice, they don't break, adeleye says break twice and nails TKV and the ref counts it as a knockdown. @CST80 @Serge @Arch Stanton @ForemanJab

The ref is 100% in the wrong here my god

 

I thought I heard him call break clearly, and saw him grab his arm. The referees refusal to just deal with things normally and try and coach them both all night ended in disaster. They were both visibly confused as to what to do on each break.

Strange ending. Ref was far too involved in general and pulling his free hand away like that may have led to that shot landing.

Adeleye looked poor. He was befuddled by the jab all fight long and seemed to forget his jab existed for most of the fight.
