The title speaks for itself, which fighter put on the best performance on film in history? (based on your own opinion ofc)

My vote goes to Tunney-Gibbons, a masterclass in aggressive counterpunching culminating in a KO of a previously unfloored hofer (begins @ the 2:38 mark below):

    The final Tunney-Greb fight.

In truth, it’s probably some very one-sided fight that ended in a KO.

There are so many great fights that come to mind, but as a huge Usyk fan, I’ve got to go with one of his. Two fights fit the bill, but I’ll go with this one:

Usyk vs Gassiev — the final of the World Boxing Super Series, with all the cruiserweight belts on the line. Gassiev was a dangerous, undefeated power-puncher, widely seen as one of the hardest hitters in cruiserweight history. Even heavyweights had vouched for his power. But Usyk put on an absolute clinic. He dominated and outboxed Gassiev from bell to bell, completely nullifying that power with constant movement, angles, a southpaw jab that never missed, and gorgeous combinations. It was a masterclass — a surgical dismantling in what had been billed as a 50/50 war.

    In no order:

    - Hagler vs Minter - Marvin was just brilliant in this one. The powerful jab, hooks and even his straight left was working well. His speed and fluency was just off the charts. Minter was a good fighter but Marvin made him look like an amateur. Its hard to think of many fighters who could have beaten this Hagler.

    - Roy Jones Jr vs James Toney - Toney is one of the greatest fighters of all time. Roy used his remarkable speed to outbox an all time great. Not many guys could do that to a prime Toney.

    - Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman - going up vs a guy who is undefeated and has never been knocked down before? Check. The same guy has also destroyed 2 guys who beat you? Check. The strategy that Ali used can't be replicated by anyone else. Throwing lead right hands vs a fearsome puncher without being countered. Using a high guard to block most of the big punches. Wearing down the more powerful man with lightning combinations. Just awesome.

Good Lord, it was Gibbons' final fight in a 100+ fight career, a guy fighting onward only because he lost his business. Yeah, Trevor Berbick had a masterclass against Ali also.

Roy had already cemented himself as The GOAT. He was 34 and fought an AGRESSIVE style. And he already beat some slob named James Toney.

Nah scales beat Toney “Toney was never convincingly beaten” - Emmanuel Stewart see that clip I posted? That’s the GOAT in his prime being KO’d by Tarver, Tarver took his prime and broke it over his knee, never the same.

He was the #2 ranked hw contender & came into the fight on a double digit win streak w/ wins over hofers Kid Norfolk & Carpentier.
