I could see Miller winning if the fight goes long but I feel he will take too much punishment from Wardley considering how poor Miller's defence is in relation to Wardley's power.

Miller took plenty off of dubios and also don’t forget how many suspicious looking stoppages wardley has had.

also wardley has been wobbled off a few non punchers like Gorman and molina, he’s a violent and vicious ko waiting to happen, now miller isn’t a massive puncher but I think he gets wardley out of there.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't write Miller off in this one, but Gorman and Molina can both bang when they sit down on the shots, not the biggest punchers but probably around par with Miller, who used to get his stoppages by accumulation more than one punch power, haven't really seen him throw that many shots since he got caught with Heisenberg's research running through his veins. Level wise I imagine wardley will peak around the same height Miller did - good fighter, solid contender but just short of being one of the top boys

Thing about Wardley is when he has been hurt it kinda wakes him up and he goes in to another mode

I'm struggling to see the benefits of this fight for Wardley though

Winning does very little for him and ranking wise does absolutely nothing

He has alot to lose here where as Miller really has nothing to lose

He should have been going the Pulev route but clearly Frank didn't want to pay him the money required

Maybe Warrens planning to match Itauma with Pulev instead of Wardley? WBC regular title means nothing to Wardley but Warren can still spin it by saying if Itauma wins it he s the youngest heavie world champ. There’s still time. Itauma is supposed to be fighting in early may but still no opponent confirmed yet. Maybe Pulev is the big surprise opponent that they gonna reveal?

If course the regular means something to Wardley
It's a direct route to a title shot to a main belt

And he aint getting one anytime soon without it

Frank just isn't gonna give Pulev the money he wants

Always been a big Wardley fan. But I am worried about this matchup for him. Jarrel Miller is too big and would cause big stylistic problems for Wardley who was never really a big heavyweight.

Ordinarily he can do quite well against most heavyweights in terms of size but Jarrell is similar height but 100 pounds heavier. When Dubois fought Jarrell, Dubois still built like a tank even though he was 90 pounds lighter.

    We'll see, maybe I'm wrong.

Do you think Wardley hits harder than Dubois? Dubois had to land a sickening amount of clean power shots on Miller throughout the entire fight to finally get him out of there in the 10th. That fight might have damaged Miller's punch resistance though.

Good test for Wardley. As limited as Miller is, he's big, he's durable and he comes to fight. I could see Miller giving him a real test if he can walk through his power.

A guy who shows up to a professional fight weighing 333 lbs tells you all you need to know about him. My only question is will Wardley step on the gas and exhaust this listing oil tanker and stop him.

Obviously Dubois is more proven with his power but I really do fear Wardley's power.

It is good points from you - Miller has a granite chin as shown by how much punishment he took from Dubois but we don't know if he still has the punch resistance and Miller's defence is very very poor - he is easy to hit especially the way he fights - constantly plodding forward to swarm his opponent with a reliance on his chin.

Remember what everyone said about Joyce's chin too. Wardley IMO can really hit hard and I think Miller will take too much punishment as a result.
