Bivol will vacate his WBC belt

Why do we need a trilogy? Bivol got robbed the first time and won the second. The third will be the same result. Bivol should fight Benavidez.

Very disappointed. I think a fight with Benavidez would have been a good scrap. Canelo, Beterbiev x 2 and Benavidez. No argument as to the #1 guy at that point. Provided he be DB.

Bivol, Beterbiev, or maybe Callum Smith all have a chance of beating Benavidez at 175 imo. Canelo is shot but he's still got a chance against Benavidez since it's a decent style for him to deal with. Beterbiev would be Benavidez's mandatory if he were given the belt.

 

Have to get it on really - its one all and Beterbiev isn't getting any younger.

bivol decided to give him the title instead of fighting for it. if beterbiev loses again to bivol, why would david fight him? maybe smith has a chance, but i dont see it.

 

Because Beterbiev gave Bivol an immediate rematch and Bivols just being fair since Beterbiev wants it.

 

maybe. or maybe he sees a fight against a fighter he already beat twice an easier task than beating a top guy in his prime, even if the prime guy brings him more money.

and beterbiev would still be there if bivol defended his belt against david first. if anyone thinks beterbiev will win on the 3rd try, i will take that bet. its why most dont even want to see a 3rd fight, because its pretty clear already where they are at.
now if someone would rather see those 2 fight again because they are fans, and dont care about benavidez, i can understand that. but lets not confuse that with it being about boxing.

Beterbiev is already 40 he deserves to be as fit and athletic as possible, Benavidez will still be there after. I'd rather see Benavidez but Bivol isn't avoiding anyone here, he will treat Benavidez like Zurdo after he gets done with Beterbiev best believe
