That's the only fight people want to see, that's how. Belly's scared.

It does not matter what Hearn says,Joshua at this point of his career has no intention of rematching Dubois, until Joshua comes out and says so himself then this is nothing more than Hearn opening his mouth to keep Joshua relevant without him actually fighting !

Seems only a few months ago that Joshua was going to take on the dangerous Bakole...in Africa...it was all but signed...

I'm sure that would've happened if he didn't fill in for Parker. Remember that? Joshua was getting credit for taking on all comers. Does this "rematch with Dubois" sound similar?

    LOL

He was always top #2 next to Fury, from Wlad until Usyk came along. Its only now the new generation (Dubois, Parker, Agit, Bakole) is taking over the top spots.

Because he watched how easily Joshua handled Ngannou, while Fury himself was knocked down and would have lost with fair judges?

Joshua better forget about Dubios. Someone gets blown out like that doesn't deserve a rematch and damn sure shouldn't ask for one. AJ landed 1 big shot that hurt Dubios, then was promptly knocked out.

Anthony, keep Dubios name outcha mouf. If not, Dubios may knock your jaw off.

Hearn is smarter than Warren and co. though.
It's not just the opportunism of wanting to see the outcome of the Usyk fight. He wants a long lay-off to repair the concussive damage after the KO.
He wouldn't be dumb enough to put AJ in with the mma fighter just before Usyk unification. Yes, the mma fighter was dealt with easily by them AFTER they were warned of the danger seeing what happened to Fury, but AJ could have easily walked into a massive shot if he'd shown no respect like Fury. In that case Hearn also would have wriggled out of the fight to make sure they weren't compromised.

If there was a rematch clause, then it's entirely possible that DDD actually DOES red to rematch him...

And with Hearn, there probably was.

This place would be hilarious if Joshua pitty patted out a boring points win a-la Ruiz 2.

Not necessarily likely given their respective trajectories, but it'd be funny on here at least.

AJ gets so much hate on here, it's untrue. I would understand this if he always talked about smoking people then pitty-patted his ways to boring points wins, or if he was a dirty fighter head-butting or rabbit punching his way to victory, or if he had ever failed a drugs test, but he's none of these. He was an incredibly exciting fighter, who had a great run, but is a past his best now

Ruiz mops the floor with him, humiliates him so badly that it´s still gloated over to this day - Joshua immediately rematches Ruiz.
Usyk gives him a boxing lesson, almost stops him in the 12th round - Joshua forces the rematch clause.
Dubois mops the floor with him, faceplant KO´s him as a cherry on the top - Joshua wants the rematch.

    Yea, what a coward!

It's hilarious seeing people on an internet forum calling the former two-time unified heavyweight champion of the world a coward. I wonder if there are people on physics forums calling mathematicians idiots because they can't come up with a unified field theory

Yeah the hate is just ridicolous at this point. Joshua went on a tear for a few years (Wlad, Whyte, Parker, Povetkin) and took lots of risks (Usyk, Dubois, Ruiz rematch) and deserves credit for it. Can't see him returning to the top again but he's more dangerous than people are giving him credit for.
