Does anyone remember the Sports Illustrated cover of Tony Mandarich in 1989

Yep I remember the cover

 

I had that issue for a long time. That was a wild article. The height of athletes running wild on steroids.

 

I don’t remember the Tyson part but I do remember the cover.

At the time (1989), Tyson seemed unbeatable. Mandarich was the biggest, most-jacked offensive lineman anyone had ever seen. So the idea was floated, like Ali vs. Alzado.
