Whilst I don't buy the revisionist AJ is a bum nonsense, I do agree with this. The referee stopped them every time a fight threatened to break out...

This goes back to my comment in another thread about how most fans are critically ignorant of the realities of fighting. That ignorance tends to produce many of the more assinin views that pop up, like world champions being "cowards" lol.

Most fighters have a basic underlying respect for other fighters for the simple fact that they actually know how much courage it takes to make that long walk to the ring to fight someone hand to hand in front of an audience.

Let alone when that audience is almost the entire boxing world, and your entire reputation and possibly career is on the line.

I think about instances like AJ vs Ruiz 2 and the probable AJ vs DD 2. These fools that talk about AJ being a coward have absolutely no idea the levels of fortitude it takes to go out and perform on the world stage against someone that has bounced you off the canvas multiple times already.

Also people like to dismiss it but even AJ vs Whyte for example. The last time those two had met in the ring Whyte stopped AJ... the idea it didnt take bravery to face Whyte down is just stupidity.

    Ect ect ect.

The match should have been done sooner, now the boxers are towards the end of their careers. Then it is not even certain that this match will take place, even if I really think so, let's see what happens.

Both are multimillionaires however I think there is too much money on the table for this fight not to happen.

Just what I said, there are good purses for both of them. They and their managers know it, so I think they will announce the match soon.

Seems like most of the division is waiting to see if Fury/AJ actually sign to fight before they do anything else.

Because when you're end of life with only possibly one more fight left in you then you don't waste it on a bodybuilding bum who you gain nothing from beating.

Why would AJ deserve a rematch with Dubois if the later were to beat Usyk? Surely, Usyk would deserve an immediate rematch with Dubois given they would be 1-1 and Usyk had to grant both E-Hearn golden goose AJ, Big Frank's golden goose Belly undeserved rematches after going 1-0 vs both with everything stacked heavily against him and almost getting robbed by one judge in the first AJ fight, actually getting robbed by one of them in the first Belly fight?

The way bigger AJ was trounced by an inactive Usyk in his backyard in front of 65,000 of his home fans and was still given a rematch despite that and Usyk being his mandatory challenger, so there never should've been a rematch for numerous reasons.

Usyk had to rematch both AJ and Usyk after having comprehensively beaten both on a deck stacked against him whilst giving away huge/obscene physical advantages but if Usyk were to lose to Dubois to even the score he doesn't get an immediate rematch and AJ would get to jump the queue. WTF?!

Dubois doesn't even deserve a rematch vs Usyk either

This is not a criticism of AJ it's directed at E-Hearn aka Mr ReMatchroom and I find this very revealing of him, assuming he didn't mention Usyk deserving an immediate rematch with Dubois in the event he lost to him that is.

Eddie Hearn's sole concerns in this regard are AJ and how much money they can make together. He doesn't have Usyk's interests in mind, and nor should he, he's not Usyk's promoter.

Usyk's actual promoter should be sitting down with him and choosing their own path. If he wants a rematch clause in the Dubois fight I am sure he could get one, as he has all the cards, he's the unified champion, the recognised no.1 and he has already beaten Dubois.
