Marvin “Pops” Johnson over Victor Emilio Galindez. Marvin had started to beat Victor up, and at the end he began timing his southpaw left over Victor’s right — Victor was throwing upward-angle rights to the body and uppercuts to the head. Victor went to the well one too many times and Marvin’s left exploded over it and sent Galindez reeling literally across the ring. He landed on his back and his feet went up in the air and there’s nearly enough force to have flipped him completely ass-over-tea kettle.
Left hook kayos moving forward: This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected (what's crazy about that last one is that Wlad "Dr. Steelhammer" Klitschko was known primarily, for about 99.99% of his career, as a straightforward, somewhat predictable 1-2 artist. Just the straight left jab and right cross, M1 spam, over and over, like clockwork. Snatching the soul of Ray Austin with nothing but left hooks was a pretty baller move and left everybody shocked).
Check (pivot counter) hook kayos: This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected (technically it was a right hand that finished McCrory on the second knockdown, but he was effectively demolished from that check hook. Incredibly, that was landed by Curry just three seconds after swinging himself off balance with a previous left hand and nearly losing his footing altogether. To recompose oneself instantaneously after such a bad stumble and then score an All-Time-Great kayo is really something...)
Thanks for all the amazing Kayos guys! Btw it's not like this thread is dead and I'll never open it again u can still post but I'm just sayin thanks to all tha posters of round 1! ...
Benitez - Hope, already mentioned. I nice fake to throw Hope off, then a perfect chin shot from a 'lightweight' puncher. Sugar Ray vs Davey Bot Green. already mentioned. Another perfect chin shot. Probably most devastating I have seen. he was out cold for a long time. I liked Leonard devastating KO of Donny Lalonde for the Super Middleweight Belt. I remember the thud as Lalonde hit the canvas. Leonard showed he still had a great finishing touch when his opponent was in trouble. WOW!! KNOCKOUT OF THE YEAR - Sugar Ray Leonard vs Donny LaLonde, Full HD Highlights (youtube.com) One that I watched on TV that was devasting was Michael Spinx vs Marvin Johnson, formerly WBC/WBA light heavyweight champion. probably the win that earned him the title shot. An unexpected short chopping uppercut/hook to the chin while Johnson is pressing and it's suddenly out like a lightdown and out like a light. WOW!! WHAT A KNOCKOUT | Michael Spinks vs Marvin Johnson, Full HD Highlights (youtube.com)
Since @LilButt will keep checking, here's another one I'm fond of. Lara vs Marrero FULL FIGHT: April 28, 2018 - PBC on FOX
