Boots Ennis vs Eimantas Stanionis prediction thread...

This is a very easy fight to predict. Stanionis has ZERO chance of winning, unless there's some kind of divine intervention.

With three American judges and fighting in the USA, neither Stanionis nor any other East European boxer will ever win a judges' decision over a hyped, highly-regarded American boxer.

And the American referee has a history of favoring American boxers, so Stanionis will be fighting two men in there, so it won't be easy for him to get a stoppage. And Ennis is a good defensive boxer, not easy to hit flush.

The deck is stacked against Stanionis. I hope he's getting a decent payday out of this fight.

 

Can't pick against Boots given home advantage etc. IMHO he'll probably do enough to get a decision on unbiased scorecards, but let's see

 

This is my concern. Certain demographics get significant homerism. Thinking of Andre Ward versus Kovalev or even Haney versus Loma. Add in Ortiz v Bohachuk. I had the EE win each of those fights (as well as Madrimov over Bud).

 

I think he ,s gonna hammer Stanionis....

 

Stanonis has fought once since 2022 and a year out of the ring and he’s going to be a lot smaller in ring, boots is going to run the house on him, boots TKO8

 

Congrats, you were right. I used to be very high on Boots but his previous fight was very poor, leading me to underestimate him this time.
