flashy, fun to watch, athletic, fast heavy hands. Gets hit too much though. He really needs to get more defensively responsible or he’s going to end up in deep waters he shouldn’t have been in eventually.

Not really.. he's had 34 fights & his best win is Stanionis who doesn't have a single decent win & has only fought once since 2022 .. these American Fighters are so overrated lately it's laughable.. they don't do anything and get crowned pound for pound Kings .. their careers in comparison to past greats are a joke

I like Ennis. I think he may very well be the kind of fighter that allows the level of competition to dictate his peformance. It's conceivable that he viewed Stanionis as a threat and a big fight and responded accordingly.

Anyway, I'll be watching from afar. I'll let my ESB homies hold down the fort.

This win is the same as Pacquaio's win over Vargas. Stanionis best win is Dulorme. He has paper thin resume and inactive over a year.
Was it a good win? Yes.
Am i Impressed? My answer is No.

Well at least we know his power is still carried up to 154. Time for him to finally step it up. Ortiz or Murtazaliev would be awesome fights for Boots next year if they can make it happen. If he beats those two in impressive fashion there's no denying that he'll finally be P4P material.

He's very talented no doubt but It's time for him to start fighting the big dogs at 154. A fight with Ortiz is likely next and if he can beat him, that would be very impressive.

Boots is the goods. If boxing politics falls into the right places, then he very well could be the next undisputed JMW champion.

    This.

In this business it is all about proving yourself against the best in Vergil, Murtazeliev, winner of Fundora/Thurman, rather than padding your record against second rate pretenders.

somewhat impressed. i dont think he is top 3 p4p destined, but he is elite level. i still see some vulnerability, but it will take a big puncher to exploit it. i favor ortiz to beat him, as he has the power to make the lapses count. but it wouldnt shock me if boots got vergil first.
im not taking into account saturdays fight, since it didnt tell me much. but it does appear that boots didnt lose power or speed moving up. i think both fighters will be facing their best opponent so far.

Were you guys impressed with his win over Zayas? He got the job done where he overcame some rough spots but still fought like a Philly warrior. Ennis is a very talented offensive fighter and just fun to watch. It’s gonna take another special fighter to beat him. The sooner they make the Vergil Ortiz fight happen the sooner we get to see if Ortiz could be that guy to push him to his limits.
