It’s a strange one because we’ve never seen 38 year old Usyk in the ring. He will be 38.5 when he rematches Dubois. The 38 year old heavyweights who actually fought with the best chance would probably be Vitali, Sanders, Zhang and Foreman. One of them or more could have Wlad’s number.
I favour Wladimir he dominated another skillful defensive Southpaw in Byrd twice without losing a single round. Apart from Sanders who was an ultra aggressive very hard hitting Southpaw Wladimir had a good record vs Southpaws Thompson x2, Byrd x2, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Gomez, Pianeta, etc. I'd favour Wladimir by decision.
Dude.... no one seriously rates Wald as the GOAT. You like to troll, you know what trolling is, why fall for it yourself?
Yeah. if you do not have serious power to keep Wlad honest, he will wear you down and stop you. think Chris Byrd, Chambers, Chagaev Etc. Usyk is great but I think he gets stopped, or loses a wide decision in this one.
Uysk easily outboxes Wlad in the same way he outboxed AJ A robot who doesn't throw body punches and is one dimensional will not beat Usyk.
And that gets me to think Wlad has a chance. But I think the rabbit would outbox him at the end of the day. However, what's the best punch against the southpaw? Straight right hand. Wlad had one of the best and most powerful straight rights in the history of the sport.
The right hand is effective, but usyk won't be stationary. His other problem is the left hook. I maybe am being to harsh on wlad, but I think Usyk would out work him and not be bullied in the clinch I do rate wlad higher than Fury and Aj, especially Aj
One of the biggest trolls on here is a staff member and he's brilliant at it to he fair. I enjoy his posts lol. Another staff member is just as good also lol
