Rocky vs Roberto Duran

Reading the thread title reminded me that Roberto was actually in Rocky 2 lol

Duran would have to work very hard to win this one,maybe Rocky SD because Duran didn't have the strength to do it like the lower weights,but he has enough toughness,tricks and experience to roar back many times vs Rocky,it might go either way but chances are 55% for Rocky to win.

 

I actually thought that was the Rocky he meant.

Duran wipes the floor with Sly and kills the franchise.

 

I think Durán would outsmart Graziano and win a close but clear UD

 

If Duran can handle Hagler, he can handle Graziano (this pains me to admit), but its an even more dangerous fight for a while. Duran could hit the deck before stopping Graziano, and i think Graziano's shortness, infighting and raw power could cause issues if Duran tries to stand in front of him

Graziano would have a seriously hard time hitting Duran , and Roberto would counter him to death. Rocky was a tough guy but his skills are sub par compared to Duran and he doesn't have the huge size advantage that Barkley had. I see a stoppage late as Graziano's face is a bloody mess..

 

Duran would outjab him due to him being more fluid, less predictable and changes his level and body position well which would allow him to throw the jab and land on the more stiff Graziano whilst being able to get his head off centre line.
Duran would also be able to counter him often when Graziano opens up, he’d see it coming, would be able to slip and roll with the punches and counter.
