Speaking of guys named Arthur born in other countries but residing in and fighting out of Germany - how much fun would Kovalev vs. Abraham have been several years back if the latter had tried his luck at 175lbs?

It'd be like watching a crocodile slowly killing a turtle. It'd be fascinating to see how many rounds AA could keep that guard up before Krusher obliterated it.

 

I'm glad if nothing else that Kov was able to kayo John Barleycorn and get himself in shape for one last stab at going out with a W on his own terms. Really, if he wanted to ride off into the sunset on a high note after the Canelo loss, retiring after beating Tervel Pulev would have been ideal but oh well.

I'd honestly rather be in a fight with Wilder in his prime than Kovalev in his. Best case you make the big dosser swing & miss on everything - worst case he connects on a right hand and yours lights are switched off with merciful swiftness. A sustained beating from Krusher, though?
