Hrgovic says he would be more than happy to fight Moses Itauma...

Harsh opinions around here... Itauma is great considering his experience so far. You guys either don't seem to want to wait for another great contender to grow into his position or actively want him to fail or seem to overestimate him.

What kind of a stupid jump in level would hrgovic present after Itaumas opponents so far? Yes he is hyped but he delivered real well on the eye test and in contrast to whitaker he didn't resort to humiliating his opponents in order to gain attention undeserved by his actual accomplishments. Warren talks a lot but I would not hold this against Itauma who seems like a boxer I want to see a lot of in the future.

Hrgovic would not be blasted out by itauma. Too much experience and much too great a chin there... Instead he would force itauma to box over the whole distance and certainly land quite a bit in between. With the lack of experience in Itauma compared to hrgovic i would expect him to lose decisively and that would be pretty itiotic and unnecessary at this point in his career.

Let him have confidence for his growth and let's hope he develops into the monster that he might become.

 

He's been knocked down by Zhang and knocked out by Dubois. It looks like he is prone to kissing the ground against serious opponents.

 

Zhang caught him around the back of the head and it was a very very questionable knock down

Itauma and his team can talk all they want, but the truth is they are never gonna risk this fight right now.

Hrgovic is very durable, tough and experienced. It's far too risky a fight to take.

If they do risk it, it's as dumb a decision as Joe Joyce facing Zhang, Cleverly facing Kovalev and Anderson facing Bakole.

It's not about chin. It's about not getting hit hard on the chin or head. Nobody is superman.

Just have Itauma fight anyone at this point. Keep him active!

He’s not scoring some easy KO against Hrgovic, who is the odd guy who may seem like he lacks heart at times but he as tough and as durable as they get. Ituama is also getting a chin check here, nobody seems to avoid getting nailed by Hrgovic’s right all night long.

But that’s why this would be a great fight. Ituama’s ceiling is, I think, much higher. He’s got big power, crazy hand speed, and good timing. But he’s green.

Hrgovic would be a real test for Ituama. And for Hrgovic, beating Ituama would be a huge statement.

If they fight and Ituama actually does blast Hrgovic out in a couple rounds, holy ****.
