Either way you look at it, the fact Cameron was more game for 12 than Whittaker isn't a good look for Whittaker imo.

Terrible look to have your promoter pay your opponent a fee higher than his purse for the first fight so you can fight 2 rounds less. Shalom must be in a deep whole financially with Whittaker by now.

Whatever happens in the ring, Quittaker and Shalom have taken the L here big style.

Shalom for running an amateurish operations where he doesn’t even ensure the number of rounds are checked in a contract. To then being so scared of his journeyman pad your record type opponent that he needs to insist on 2 rounds less.

Quittaker already took the biggest L of all time in the first fight for his diving over the top ropes then feigning injury because he was getting slapped around a bit.

Even if Quittaker knocks Cameron out he still isn’t getting the W here.

I get the feeling that this will be the performance that determines Whittaker's whole career arc.

Technically, he is levels above Cameron.

But Liam and his past performances live rent-free in Ben's mind, and he really needs to exorcise that demon in brutal fashion; otherwise, he could lose tomorrow, especially if it goes past 5–6 rounds.

Plus, the mix-up with rounds really doesn't help him at all.

At least with Kelly, he was fighting a top-level operator, and you could understand the apprehension. But if you aren't putting away the likes of Cameron inside the distance, it does not bode well, especially for someone so hyped.

I have a feeling this will be a massive anticlimax with Whittaker winning easily. First fight was his get out of jail free card and kick up the arse.

Yeah that's how I see it going too. A dull points win for Whittaker after all the excitement for it.

That said he's never done close to 12 before so it might get interesting if he gasses.

Just noticed Eggington is on the card too; he must be p4p the best value fighter in BrItish Boxing.

Hopefully the main event lives up to expectations tonight.
