How good was Dariusz Michalczewski?

    He was blue-collar, rarely spectacular, but extremely effective. Strong enough to win a title at cruiser, and technically sound enough to dominate Virgil Hill coming off arguably his best win.

    With his high guard, solid fundamentals, and physical strength he was an intimidating presence in the ring, even if it didn't look like he was doing anything amazing.

    His weakness seemed to be that he was a classic bully, and he had a nightmare first time round against rocchigiani. If you could push him back he wasn't the same fighter, but he would be a hard nights work for a lot of elite light heavies if they couldn't.

    There were controversies like the ridiculous griffin stoppage and the dq in the first rocky fight. All in all though, he wouldn't have had the record he did if he wasn't a bloody good fighter.

    Dariusz was a fantastic fighter .He Is the most underrated fighter in the last quarter century! doesn't get the respect he deserves.
