I don't know why heavyweights these days seem to be so fat, I blame Ruiz and Fury for bringing down the body standards for heavyweight champ lol.

Usyk has made the wrong decision.

Fighting in the UK, Dubois will have a referee and judges in his side, so he'll be permitted to headbutt and low blow as much as he wants. And he will not agree to random VADA testing, and so he'll be loaded up on PEDs.

Usyk's first professional loss coming up in July 2025. In a fair fight he would easily beat Dubois once again, even at age 38. But the deck is heavily stacked against him.

Aleksai Dronov has a TBA on June 13, in Tampa. This is in addition to his April 26 against Alex Theron in Miami.

Shannon Briggs scheduled for Texas July 1!

His saving grace will be that Dubois is likely to quit again.

Fury-Chisora 3 was the epitome of unnecessary.

    Kudryashov defeated Booker Via UD.
Quite straightforward victory for Dima, Booker was in sparring partner defence mode but was hurt and dropped in the last round.

Bekkhan Israilov beat Mahammad Abdullayev by decision.
Close fight could have gone either way.

Usyk-Dubois rematch confirmed for July 19th. Here's the WBO president confirming they'll be allowing it to go on and ordering the winner to fight Joseph Parker, though ultimately I expect him to eventually be elevated.

Pretty disappointed honestly. Been following this sport for about four years now and Usyk was one of the first boxers I latched onto. Been a fun journey for sure, but I kinda hate that by the end of his time at Heavyweight he'll have just fought a handful of British guys twice, and if his plan goes through, an exhibition type of opponent. Oh, and Chazz Witherspoon.

Still though, one positive about this is that he'll be continuing his road warrior/"enemy" territory reputation in going for Undisputed again. So that's cool, I reckon.

And hey, just putting cynicism aside for second, it could end up being a pretty good fight. All of Dubois' fights since then have been pretty fun, and he's for sure shown improvements since their first meeting. It's just that he hasn't fought anyone who fights even remotely similar to how Usyk will, so I just don't think his improvements will translate all that well and we'll end up seeing Usyk win in similar fashion to the first time, minus the lowblow controversy and maybe ending a bit sooner because of that. But hey, it's boxing, you never know. It is the theater of the unknown after all! :D

I have been saying Parker is the right fight for a very long time, but you have to look at it from Usyk's end. Dubois is the one insulting his honor, and beating DDD is the one who makes him triple undisputed.

I have a feeling he can be talked into a Parker fight next. The two of them were seen talking and they look pretty chummy. Maybe it's been worked out to where Parker got next?
