My worry is that legitimate concerns, over the evasion of the doping ban or the risks of the weight cut are now simply sources of additional content for 'edgy' pre-fight social media posts. The promoters clearly don't give a toss about boxing or the health of the men in the ring, but they can sense when a criticism can be turned into an opportunity to gain a greater share of the national conversation.
According to the analytics 98.7% of pre-sales are to the masses desperate to see the conclusion of the greatest trilogy in British Boxing, Antony Yarde vs Lyndon 'King' Arthur. Apparently there's plans in place to insert a virtual crowd for the main event as most of the punters will leave after this fight is concluded.
Why is Eubank JNR a charlatan? He has fought at a decent level, beating Abraham and De Gale, losing a very close fight to BJS and it wouldn’t have been a bad decision if Eubank J had got the nod. Groves beat him and Eubank J was poor that night. He only lost to Smith imo due to the weight issues.
COME ON BENN!! Smash that arrogant twat I think Eubank will win but I'm 100% supporting Benn. WAR BENN!!
Commentators saying Jr looks cold and motionless at the weigh-in. Hunger and dehydration does that to ya!
This right here is what happens when you do things on the cheap. Not in a million years would this happen to a Warren fighter for example. It stinks but Eubank should really have understood his leverage and just said no, or at least make it less punitive
It's all very WWE. Benn and Eubank are both adults. They are both being rewarded handsomely. They are both going to be effected negatively by the weight tomorrow. Both sides teams are full of cretins. Some folk on here getting far too rattled. Just enjoy the fight. You aren't that outraged that you won't watch it, admit it!
Have you seen who advises him ! It's no wonder CEJ has been well and truly turned over on every aspect up to now.
This content is protected Eubank looks in trouble. He’s a corpse right now, and with the hydration clause he’s going to be p*****g into the wind. Sad affair.
I never expected Eubank to struggle making 160, his last 5 fights have been at the weight and he's always kept in shape and looked lean, the rehydration was always going to be the problem but I figured it was always Benn with the disadvantage having to jump up to a weight he has no business at but I'm starting to think Benn might pull a win off tomorrow night. Eubank looked like a zombie. Dry, gaunt in the face and very tired. See it as a 50/50 fight now rather than a Eubank win.
