Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Nigel Benn & Liam Smith vs. Aaron McKenna RBR.

The other fights I see tonight were mostly crap but props to both men making the main event worth watching.

Eubank is past it but showed heart.

Benn is too small but his credentials went up fighting very competitively against a bigger man.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch honestly.

 

Just nice to see the welts and swellings on his face.

Good fun scrap. These guys were never world title level but few fighters are able to sell 50-60k seats at home.

He didn't beat a 35yr old Eubank. He was 28 and that's hiw it will read in the history annals

Funny that Canelo was mentioned as an opponent for the winner.

The ginger one would destroy these two on the same night.

 

Brilliant use of the clinch by Benn all throughout the fight. He put his head on Eubank's left shoulder, and grabbed that arm in an underhook. Removed Eubank's two best shots up close (left hook & uppercut), and forced him to rely on his right hand which he has never really had the stance or technique for.

 

I can’t imagine it doesn’t happen. That was too good to not run it back.

 

But, but the 270 pages...

Eubank cannot make that weight limit again.
